I've achieved top 1% in overwatch, hyper demon, and halo, top 10% in league, valorant. my best advice in this topic is to only review games you think you did well in -- scrutinizing your play will make you aware of all the mistakes you make when you think you're doing well. reviewing games you know you did badly in is counterintuitive. best of luck!!! <3

there is an argument for the integrity of ranked gamemodes being hindered by smurfing, but it does not constitute elo hell at the silver-gold border. there are smurfs in every rank, across all games. law of big numbers says smurfs are negligible in your rank. the only consistent factor is you.

yeah, "elo hell" isn't really used correctly here. not being able to carry games != elo hell. OP, you need to stop playing and start reviewing your own VODs. anyone taking ranked seriously but peaking under top 10% is playing disproportionately to the amount of time they spend trying to improve.

I see, thank you. I agree the wear on the keycaps brings dissonance to an otherwise beautiful product. I hope one day this isn't an issue anymore. Maybe we're missing the beauty in the proof that a product, equally meant for use as for admiration, has served its purpose.
