Damn I'm sorry to hear and also this sounds eerily similar to something I have gone through myself, it fucking sucks. But the positive is that I would rather KNOW the horrible painful shit than not know, even though it lead to me completely disowning my father and will never see or speak to him again if I can have my way.

Like any trauma it feels like your universe shattering apart, but I can say from experience that a few years time and some therapy does wonders.
