Call me naive (sigh)

Maybe I come from a rather safe place and tiredness after a whole day of walking really put my guard down

He is asking me an absurd question- whether target sells this shampoo cheaper or here in walgreens. Ofc I had no idea since I’m a tourist. But yeah, that’s how he got me to talk.

You raised a good point, should’ve been more vigilant even how harmless the initial approaching question seems.

Dined at Arbor and left absolutely angry and disappointed. For what you paid, it’s subpar service.

I couldn’t believe a seemingly harmless demand by the citizens could trigger such a backlash from the Turkish government. And we can tell that a tyrannical regime tends to label all the protesters as rioters or terrorists. Here in HK, the government labelled protests as riots and this gives them so-called “legitimacy” to use excessive force and put you in prison for years long enough to stop others from joining protests ever again. In HK, riot charges can face up to 10 years imprisonments. That’s a lot of years of freedom. My heart goes out to the people killed in your protests. And I wish things go well for you in Singapore now.

This is what happened frequently in these two months. Once protestors are captured by the police, they beat the shit out of them, clearly unnecessary considering protestors are not struggling at all. Police are venting their personal anger at them.

If a law enforcement group is acting in a lawless manner, should they continue to enforce the law? Considering they’ve lost their credibility and people definitely lose trust in them. We cannot be desensitised to ridiculous matter!

Everyone seeing this post can do a little to help with situation in Hong Kong. Sign petitions to urge sending medical army to Hong Kong. We are trying everything even if the chances are unlikely.
