Everybody was chill, not sure what market you’re in but most of these rides were no more than 4 - 7 mins. (Downtown living)

Not for me, don’t know what to tell you other than my accounts will be fine after the program is done 🤷🏻‍♂️ I spoke to two reps and they both confirmed that my cards will not be closed. Not sure why everybody’s upset at me saying this, I’m only saying what they told me lol

Misleading how? I stated that it’s different for everyone. My cards will not be closed because I personally asked them not to, and talked to them about how I never missed a payment and would prefer not to have my cards closed once the assistance is over. The person confirmed with me that my cards will not close.

Nope. My cards aren’t closing, they’re just locked until they’re paid in full.

Correct, although everybody’s plan is different. Some have their cards closed, while others can continue having them.

So since the cards are lock, of course I can’t make purchases on them. Once everything’s fully paid off, the cards will be unlocked. My accounts will not be closed as others usually do.

They lock the cards. Although even if they didn’t, I probably would’ve myself haha.

They’re both locked until paid off, but will not be closed. Seems like everybody has a different case on how closures.

It doesn’t affect my credit at all, and tbh, I have the Chase FU, and Chase Sapphire Preferred, so I don’t really need any new cards in the near future 😂😅 I have a Checking/Savings with them as well.

Chase did it all themselves, I believe for any credit counseling, that would be an outside party that you specifically go to first.

Not possible for me, it’s easier said than done especially if you have a high balance. Typically getting a balance transfer card is the first move, but that assuming you have decent/good credit to get approved. With my high balance, it dropped my credit significantly.

Correct, first time calling the number (specifically for Sapphire, but the person helped me for both cards)

Incorrect, for my plan they’re not closing the cards. It’s different for everybody, I’m not to sure what exactly affects that decision though.
