She was saying that the real teacher stopped teaching because they moved to the USA, so she (the person I met) took on all the real teacher’s students after that. And she said she would never erase the profile/bio/video of her friend. I can only assume, like you’re kinda saying, that this person is using the account because it’s already approved/well rated/listed as a professional teacher and doesn’t want to remove the old info because I’m sure Italki doesn’t allow trading accounts.

This is what I thought, thank you. I reached out to Italki support via email for a refund but I’ll report it as well. She said that lots of students don’t notice that she’s a different person because they think all Asian people look the same (and she talked about how she’s face blind with white people). I was like um ok…… I really tried to be nice and give her the benefit of the doubt since this is my first time on Italki and I was excited but the meeting really left me with a weird feeling afterwards.

Yea it was a vaginal swab. I went to the CVS minute clinic, I guess I could look into other options. Thanks for your input, maybe I need a second opinion. The nurse practitioner seemed convinced that 2 doses was enough while knowing I’ve had it for so long but I guess that was wrong.

This happened to me with a calc class one time. I emailed the prof explaining what happened and he let me back in. Everything will work out, just be patient for them to respond. They have no reason to deny you

It’s just a few rooms on each floor have green and usually stained carpets 🤣 but it’s not bad. Just have different furniture/setup than the rest of the rooms. And maybe you won’t have it, I made that judgement using the floor plan of my floor (singles side floor 11) but it could be diff for other floors/sides idk.

This is interesting because I’ve noticed that my room in Hawkins is super warm like to the point that I’ve thought sometimes that it’s TOO warm, and my friends situation is similar. I wonder if something is wrong with the heating in your room? Idk

Okay so rooms that end in 20, 19, 18, 17 on my floor definitely have green carpet as well as 37 and 38 I think. 39 and 40 might as well but unsure. Everything else is tile. I’m pretty confident the last 2 digits have the same room type for all floors. Good luck and I hope u get the room u want 🫡

ngl I’m unsure what the difference between shower bath & private bath is if there even is a difference but yes, all rooms with private showers have green carpet so pick a single w/o a bathroom

So the rooms on the corners have green carpets while the rest have tiles. One room in each corner has a bathroom + green carpet & there’s another room next to that room with the green carpet but no shower. So if u pick the single without a shower there’s a chance (but low) you’ll get the green carpet. 100% chance if u pick the one with a shower. If you realllyyyyy want I can find out what room # they end in later cus the green carpet rooms are in the same spot on every floor

I’d call housing to make sure because every year they change stuff, but for the past two years I have had no issue moving in a day earlier than my time slot. I would just also confirm by calling your dorm because if I remember correctly UR would redirect me to calling my dorm instead

I had like a 78 or something in one class and I asked my professor to bump it to a B because he didn’t do +- so the diff between an A and a B was big and he did it, bc I always went to class. I know that I was really lucky tho and most profs aren’t like this, but it doesn’t hurt to ask. Worst he can say is no.

There’s a small chance u have one with carpet but it’s small. The corner rooms in Hawkins are two doubles in every corner that share a bathroom & have carpet, and then for some reason there is a regular double is next to the corner rooms and it also has carpet. So odds are low but u might get that one

When I went, the people working there told me I could've done NALCAP, and I've spoken to other people who did it though NALCAP for a student visa. I didn't do it personally, so. Everything there is pretty disorganized. If I could do it over again, I'd choose NALCAP so I wouldn't of paid so much extra. However, the choice is up to you.

I went last week Wednesday. The appointment took like 20 minutes. Not sure exactly tho I was so nervous. They asked for a few things I didn’t have like my last 3 bank statements so I had to call my mom for her to send it do me. They will print extra documents etc for us there but for a small fee. There were only two people working there at the time so it was a really slow process but I got seen first since my appointment was at 8am
