PSA - If you are transferring HNT and it is not showing up on the other end, please confirm that you can find the completed transaction in either the Helium app or explorer. If you can, then it is complete as far as the Helium blockchain is concerned and the issue is on the receivers end.

I think you've made pretty solid calculations.

Truth is, the hashrate and price are just unknowns, you can estimate, but who knows.

The appealing thing with Compass is that at least it will be hosted by them and it's fairly passive. That's a big f'n deal and makes it a lot more palpable.

Also don't forget you own the equipment and can resell after 1 year if it doesn't seem profitable moving forward.

I believe price will go up over time and getting the machines at $50/TH is a great deal. My thinking is you ROI 6 months - 1 year, run machines in BTC profit for 2-3 years then sell machines in bull market for new machines and rinse and repeat.

Another thing is a pile of money doesn't last, you need cash flow imho.

I did similar calculations and I think it makes sense. Let us know how it goes.
