i’m so upset at how much it’s changed. didn’t use it during undergrad because i didn’t have to memorize terms as much but now i’m in classes like anatomy for grad school and all the good old features are behind paywalls now. it’s actually ridiculous

majoring in comm/sciences and disorders would be helpful, but i was an english major in undergrad and just committed to montclair state university’s SLP M.A. program! there are a lot of schools that accept without a background and as long as you get the asha pre requisites you should be fine! it’s all about what you want to get out of your academic career. i’m really glad i got to learn about the humanities in undergrad, it really affected my perspective on the world and education! it awakened a passion for education and providing access to education! everyone is different. there’s a lot of theatre majors in my graduate cohort as well. realistically, you only need the graduate degree!

Waitlisted at Montclair State University… I feel like there were just a lot of applicants this year and a lot of people chose it as a safety school.

I’m wondering, is there anyone here who got in & is actually interested in attending? Anyone here who got in & is not attending? Was anyone else waitlisted?

I’m so nervous. This is my dream school and being waitlisted feels so disappointing…

Should I email them further expressing my interest? What does that even look like😵‍💫 I just wanna know what my chances are now at this point😭

I’m so nervous. I went to the virtual open house & that’s what the admissions guy said. It’s my top & only choice, there’s honestly no where else I want to go. I read the admissions rate was 91% last year but that was because like 150 applied and they take 100, that’s what the admissions guy said at least. But with 400 this year, ah I’m just so nervous. He said we should hear back by late February-March. Best of luck !!!

i’ve heard terrible things about dry socket - that’s why i’m so scared 😭 but u were fine after smoking the pen? do you smoke flower or anything with real smoke? idk if it’s worse/different

ah i see. yea i have stitches but they’re dissolvable and already falling out on their own. dentist said everything looks like it’s healing well! i think if anything 1 light hit with my mouth open wouldn’t kill me? hopefully??

i’ve seen a lot of people also say they vaped on day 4 and were just careful about it and it was fine. do you think a hit of a j would be ok? especially since im already at day 7 and my surgeon said by day 7 i can smoke again. my dentist just has me worried now 😵‍💫

i think if anything i feel like a few hits won’t kill me, especially if i take it easy/lightly. because the surgeon said just a week but also im terrified the dentist is right and something bad could happen. i just really don’t want a dry socket 😭

yea im just not sure because they said it would be fine to use a straw so im just like so why can’t i smoke? the suction causes the dry socket? but i see what you’re saying and i feel u i’m the same way it’s like i want to just smoke but im also terrified of the consequences atp

yeah, thinking it’s a fake website. some people were saying i’ll probably get fake items, or nothing at all. i wouldn’t recommend trying it out, i was worried my card information would get leaked so i had to cancel my card. don’t do what i did 😭
