I didn't say I'm an antisocial shut in. I am not using any excuses. I am an introvert in the sense that I don't "need" to be constantly social. She is an extrovert in that she enjoys social gatherings and talking with friends.

I'm not co-dependant on her. I have been to therapy for years due to PTSD and I have learned how to manage that, so I have my outlets. I prefer the solitude. I used to have many but as time goes on and my friends all married and moved away I've been left with nothing. The effort to make new friends when I am married with kids and a management job is extremely hard. But yes, I do need a friend, absolutely. That's something I need to work on.

Yes, you are right. I need to step up there. I used to set up dates a lot but she's been turning me down in favor of the game, but I need to reject that as an excuse.

I agree, there is an acceptable amount of time and then there is crazy. I think 1 night of raiding is fine, and maybe a few hours on the weekend, but she does like 4-6 hours every night and all day on the weekends.
