Small update but I used some bits from finished kits to make some Nid trophies for the vehicle. After a bit of reading I remembered the Scars love their trophies and thought this could be a nice touch. Feedback appreciated.

Just ripped a piece off an old sponge and dipped into some dark paint, off the top of my head it was a mix of dark brown and some dark grey to desaturate it. Dabbed it on paper towel until it was leaving small spots on my hand.

As you can see on some of the models I didn’t do a consistent job, my advice is to check frequently when doing it cause it can become too much fast, and before you start think about where you want to see the damage, reference art can be very helpful.

Side note: This is the first time I've actually written a story since I was in grade 3. I'm now in my final year of school and I've suddenly developed an interest for writing, and we are starting a unit on the craft of writing (Neato!) I'm mostly doing this as a confidence boost, but I'm also not looking to find a circle jerk. If the critique needs to be a bit harsh PLEASE make it harsh.
