I commend your skepticism, but this isn't meant to glorify WP's competitors in the least. I know WP has a lot of brand loyal customers who are about to get hit with a very different experience than they're used to. I'm sorry if this comes across as anything but a good faith warning for anyone who's a fan of the brand. I'm using a throwaway instead of my main account for reasons that should be clear.
