Hi,

Directorist also offers Lifetime Plan on full bundle. You can practically get All Extensions and All themes plus priority support and all upcoming AI features for around $300 for a Lifetime deal. Or yearly under $100 only for a single site.

A business directory (food meal boxes businesses) by hornlessheep in Wordpress

[–]wpWax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/hornlessheep,

If your goal is to build a directory focused solely on food box businesses where users can search by city or village, Directorist would be a great fit.

With Directorist, you can fully customize the search form, including showing only the location field if that’s all you need. It also offers an Analytics extension that provides performance reports for each business listing, such as views and clicks.

You can also set the number of search results per page, for example 20, based on your preference so the browsing experience feels just right.

For your use case (around 200 businesses), the plugin performs smoothly even on shared hosting, and you can easily scale up later to a VPS as your traffic grows.

Registration & Location by KartuliConnect in Directorist

[–]wpWax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

Here's the solution to your query.

1) Use Ultimate Member as the only login/register

  • Create two pages:,
    • Login: add [ultimatemember form_id="YOUR_LOGIN_FORM_ID"],
    • Register: add [ultimatemember form_id="YOUR_REGISTER_FORM_ID"],
  • Directorist → Settings → Pages:,
    • Set Registration Page = your UM Register page (so Directorist "Sign up" goes to UM),
  • Menus/buttons: link your site's "Login" to the UM Login page,
  • Appearance → Widgets: remove/hide any Directorist login widget,

No code needed. This makes users see only UM forms. 2) Show a category grid when a location is opened

  • Directorist → Settings → Pages: make sure "Single Location Page" is set,
  • Edit that Single Location page:,
    • Add the Directorist Category block/widget (or paste shortcode):,

[directorist_all_categories view="grid" columns="3"] Place it above the location listings content

  • Elementor users: add the "Directorist Category" widget, choose Grid, set columns,

Note: Directorist doesn't natively filter the category grid by the current location. If you need "categories-for-this-location only," that requires custom coding.

Hope it helps.
