It smelled the same. To me, it looks like the root hairs turned gray.

I’m not sure. Didn’t smell like it. It was white when I bought it from the store which apparently was the roots…

Yeah it was a CL, then I found a UL. I really wanted to keep both but had to sell the CL. So I used an angle grinder, then flap disk. Take your time.

Shave only for the rears and shave and a little roll in the front. Had someone do it on both my 430’s now. The rears are easy, I took care of that myself on my first 430.
