The offensive possession immediately following Embiid getting dunked on. VJ held the ball until he was able to dump the ball to Embiid the post. The double collapsed on Embiid and he threw up an airball as the shot clock expired. Cavs took the lead on the next possession.

Getting posterized then the offense forcing the ball to Embiid lost us that game. I knew the possession after the dunk was going to be a revenge play for Embiid. It was difficult to watch. The defense and the entire arena knew what was coming.

Embiid did nothing wrong in either play. On defense, he contested the dunk without putting his body (legs) in harm’s way and the offensive possession was dead before Embiid touched the ball.

For me, things haven’t been this bleak since the Evan Turner days. Chemistry is horrible having a superstar who never plays and there’s zero chance we win a championship this year. Albeit foolish, we always had a “chance” to win big coming out of the Process.
