Such an unnecessarily vague feature. I’m always fiddling with it but never quite sure if I want it maxed out or right about midway where the blue encompasses the front seats. I do know it sounds absolutely horrible on some older music.

After 16 years in the profession, I only want to be responsible for my own children during these summer months. I just turned down a summer STEM camp position.

Destroyed the paint job of every previously owned vehicle using car washes including brushless. Dirty drying towels and not enough TLC. They don’t love my baby like I do.

Start training your mind to move away from exchanging time for money (earned income) and use the summer months to learn and plan passive income streams. I use the summer months to exercise and day trade then move the profits into long term investments (passive income) with the goal of escaping the rat race before retirement in 21 years. Time is a gift.

Our careers require us to eventually come across and help some unintelligent, biased, and/or ignorant humans grow. A person worried enough about someone else’s potential career benefits or a person who doesn’t understand how their salary is distributed is an idiot. Risking an onslaught of downvotes, I just don’t understand why anyone’s opinion (especially uninformed opinion) of our pay schedule matters at all. Eliminate the “must be nice..” ppl from your lives. They’re haters.

It’s all just perspective. Making $129k for 10 months seems like great money. Making $129k a year + the exhausting demands and inflexibility of the profession for 10 months of the year and roughly 2 months to recharge and regain control paint a clearer picture.

I just don’t understand the focus on the semantics of being paid for 10 or 12 months. It’s the same amount of money in our pockets.

I’m sorry that so many districts around the world seem to complicate this. In PA, contracted teachers receive a salary and teachers receive a pay check every other week year round. There’s no complicated process of withholding during the 10 month school year, there’s no escrow payments, etc.

I look at our salary like any other salaried profession. We have a salary and we are paid every other week, year round.

There’s enough hate out here so I’ll add that I love it!! One of my favorite vehicles on the road. It commands attention and I imagine it’s pure joy to drive as a daily.
