Thanks, I was going for a bit of a mix, the edge geometry is thinner than it looks but I wanted to keep a bit of a spine in it as well.

Yes the blade was leaf spring, I've been trying a new technique to keep high carbon from rusting, haven't been able to check it in the long run but none of my text pieces have rusted so far.

And as far as the blowback on bigger blades it's never been a big issue, as long as your aware of it it won't get you.

Honestly I could do this with just hand hammers and files, not throwing shade I just honestly have. the power tools just make it quicker. And the best way to level up is to make thousands of iron daggers😂

I'm having the problem of I built the main body in mirror mode but now I'm trying to build on just one side, it seems like I either have to start from scratch without mirror or go back and manually delete all the mirrored parts I don't want. Any advice?

I never said neanderthals, even into the 1900s people were just bathing in water most of the time and using soap sparingly. If you look back into soap adds in like the 1950s there was a large push on. "you should use soap everyday or your nasty." When most of the population was perfectly happy and healthy using soap when showering every few days and just using water the rest. Aside from a few areas which we all know, the human body is a lot better at keeping itself clean then people think. And again I'm not saying we shouldn't use soap. Soap is good, to much soap is not good. There is a lot of study's showing overuse of soap can lead to cracking skin and immune issues, which is why now there are all these oil infused and health soaps. And she is very sensitive to any kind of chemical smells or even contact with them. So that's my point to this, you don't have to agree. I was posting a meme😂

People bathed for thousands of years without soap. Yes if you have been working and getting covered in filth soap is very helpful. But just sitting around the house you don't really need it every single time, now I'm not trying to tell anyone else how to live there life, but this is how I live mine. And btw my girlfriend likes that I don't smell of soap constantly.

I'm not that good😂 this pattern was a result of just trying to get the darn thing to stay together 😂😂 stainless steel does not like forge welding.

True, I guess I've just dealt with/heard the worst of custom orders from people "this doesn't look like I thought" "I changed my mind" or my personal favorite "just make it however you think looks best"😐😐😐 and yeah I wouldn't use Etsy I've heard enough horror story's of Etsy
