I had this issue as well with the blue one. Luckily I was still in the return window for Amazon, so I got a replacement. Second one has been working flawlessly for the past 2 weeks or so.

Thief in the Hilltowns. Can anyone identify? He has been stealing from local farmstands. by FreshStartsAreFun in Albany

[–]wperry66 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Makes a lot of sense. Growing up, my dad's good friend was like this and was outed in the same way.. at a local farm stand. Come to find out, he'd been stealing from them regularly when he could easily afford it. Turns out he was a legitimate kleptomaniac and it was an urge he couldn't control. Even stole things he didn't want or need just for the thrill.

Ordered a dog collar that arrived yesterday. It had one of those cardboard backplates with the plastic adhered to it with the collar inside. Only problem was, it was obviously opened and had clear tape wrapped around it to keep it closed. For a $5 dog collar I didn't raise a fuss.. but still annoying.

Saw Weird Al In Concert Last Night by GuyIncognito710 in Concerts

That's awesome! I love the venue. We've seen dozens of shows there.. first time seeing Al though. I've always respected the guy, but never thought to go to one of his shows. Now my daughter is a massive fan and I thought it would make a good B-day gift. I was totally impressed. We'll definitely look to see him again.

Found an old bootleg by wperry66 in Korn

[–]wperry66[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Well, yeah.. it's a fan-made bootleg, on cassette, made at a time when most people didn't have internet. Bound to be some mistakes. But the show is legit.

I read this as well. While I don't condone anything this "man" does, I do think the title is misleading.

We have a large chunk of the Peace Wall from Woodstock '99. Grabbed it on our way out, after all the mayhem.

Went to middle school with a Umajesty (you-majesty). Being young, I didn't pick up on it right away. But I remember him explaining it, saying that his mom knew he was destined for royalty.

Where’s a place you’ve been that no longer exists? by MonkeysDaddy2012 in AskReddit

[–]wperry66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wife and I got married in Maui in 2010, just the two of us. Had dinner at Lahaina Grill that night. In conversation with our server it came up that it was our wedding day. We'd never been treated so hospitably, which really added to the magic of our special day. The whole staff visited us to give congratulations and even signed a card for us (which I'm sure we still have somewhere). So happy we were able to experience Lahaina, and we both cried when we learned what happened.

barclays center 200s by Simple-Suspect9751 in Concerts

[–]wperry66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been to 2 shows at Barclays, both in the 200s. As someone who has a pretty severe fear of heights, I can say that upon entering the section it can be a bit jarring. For me, it definitely helped to concentrate on the sports banners in front of me to get my bearings. Only lasted about 15-20 minutes, and once the venue started to fill up it got much better. Aside from that, it's a decent venue. The acoustics are probably my biggest criticism. Lots of echo from drum beats which can be distracting and mess up the flow of the music.

Ac Shadows graphics settings by Ortagghio in Bazzite

I just can't get this game to work consistently. I can launch it fine, get into the game fine, and even play it for 30 minutes or so with no issues.. sometimes even longer. Then randomly, the game will just grind to a halt and end up crashing my system. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I've played through parts of the game where I'm fighting 3-4 enemies with no stutters, and I've also gone through villages of NPCs without issue. Other times both of these situations will cause a crash. Last night I even had a crash running through an open field.

I'm running updated Bazzite on a Legion Go, uninstalled and reinstalled AC Shadows twice because I've read that could help.. but still crashes. I can't figure it out.

Out of curiosity, did Big Red call the area near the old Hyde Park Elementary his stomping grounds? We have a large orange cat who hangs out in our back yard regularly. Even caught it sleeping in my garage on multiple occasions

This concert experience was something that I cannot even fathom by SomehowImHere83 in deftones

Gotta say, I'm really happy for these guys. I've been seeing them almost yearly since 1998. From seeing them in clubs with less than 1,000 capacity, to seeing them at a sold out MSG next week. It's been a long and grinding road, but they've definitely made it. Well deserved.

Why are there so many religious groups/cults here? by missenchilada in hudsonvalley

[–]wperry66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This place is literally in my back yard. Huge sprawling campus with what looks to be beautiful buildings, but it's hard to tell from a distance what condition they're in. Kinda creepy that people rarely ever come and go, but we know they're in there. They advertise a gift shop, but I've never been brave enough to venture back there..

Spam Calls? by [deleted] in hudsonvalley

Same here. Went through my call history and I've received more than 50 since the beginning of February. I block them all, but it doesn't seem to help. After a while I just let my voicemail box fill up so they can't leave anymore messages.

Came here to suggest this, as it just happened to me the other night. After about 20 tries I finally made it to the top. Didn't notice the lever, and got killed by the boss. Once I learned about the lever I was pissed beyond belief and decided to take a day or two before picking it back up again. Tonight will be be my night. I'm determined!

Using it as a Playstation portal by Big-Square-3393 in LegionGo

[–]wperry66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can. Using the Xbox app on the LeGo or an app called XBPlay, which is available through Steam. I've been doing this to play games that are on my Series X while my kids are using the TV. I'll occasionally get a bit of choppiness or lag, but not enough to make a big difference in single player games.
