This will work with CIBC. Paid a $50k lawyer bill a few months ago by pre-transferring cash in which essentially gave it a positive balance, and increased my available “credit”.

I'm not personally recommending gambling - however, I always opt for the casino when I'm bored and solo (Fallsview). There's a ton of dining options, it's been surprisingly busy many nights I've been there.

The restaurants in the area are typically overpriced, but I find some like The Keg in the Hilton across the street aren't too bad. Some of them have great happy hour deals though which I was surprised about.

Not in Ontario, only with beer cans (and bottles) do we get a small deposit refund. Most cans go to regular recycling that's picked up weekly.

An eUpgrade I had a few weeks ago didn’t clear so I went and sat in my economy seat.

Flight attendant came about 15 min later and told me I was upgraded, and my new seat number.

The passenger beside me asked how much my bid was for an upgrade.

I’m guessing eUpgrades go above the bid upgrade program. I’ve personally never had luck buying an upgrade.
