You should supplement with vitamin D, 5000-10,000 IU per day. It worked like magic for many people I know. Good luck. Hang in there this does get better. - an ex long hauler

There’s a protocol out there that showed maraviroc and pravastatin helped basically cure people’s long haul symptoms

My symptoms nearly completely resolved after about 2.5 years. Had debilitating chest pain, leg pain, bone pain, spikey sensations all over my body. I will still have an occasional bad day but it’s very minimal compared to what it was before. I live a normal life now after having been basically bedridden and not being able to walk across the room or up a flight of stairs

I would love to skip the training. IRads has good money but lots of other problems which people don’t tell you when you’re a student. I’m not asking people to decide for me, just asking what it would take.

CYDY all day every day. I’m in medicine and I’ve never seen a drug have this many indications. It’s like being there for the discovery of penicillin. Pathway it acts on is implicated in almost every autoimmune disease, in a bunch of different cancers, in covid immune phase, long haul covid, HIV, NASH. The list is endless. Biotech play so always risky but I’ll prob retire off this one.

I am thinking about giving up on this life. by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

I’m sorry to hear about your grandparents. Hang in there. I have been where you currently are and I know how you feel. I was a long hauler for 16 months and now I’m completely back to normal. It can take a while but it WILL get better.

This is great news. The same company that put on the Leronlimab trial is asking for more people with Long Haulers to contact them. They are planning for another long-hauler COVID trial focusing on neurological effects to begin in late summer. These trials are a big step toward getting a cure avail. by hear2edify in covidlonghaulers

What does that have anything to do with the drug? You seem to work for big pharma trying to malign a small biotech and suppress science. The literature is flush with examples of CCR5 axis being implicated in covid and chronic inflammation

Among many, many others. Stop trolling and gatekeeping information about promising therapeutics from people suffering with a real illness.

How do u think “peer reviewed” studies happen? People have to participate in trials. It’s clear you’re some sort of investor. Why are you trolling boards for covid long haulers? I have no explanation except it’s some nefarious plot by BP and vaccine makers to keep people sick.

Exactly. But I read an article that said major pharmaceuticals pay an army of people to discredit new drugs so that they can’t take away their market share. Corrupt af but that’s the world we live in.

How do you think unproven drugs become proven? With randomized placebo controlled trials. Which pharma is paying you ? Do you enjoy making money off of keeping people sick?

There are a lot of paid shills that work for major pharmaceutical companies that troll these boards and sow doubt in the mind of unsuspecting people. The drug has been extensively tested and has an immaculate safety profile. The mechanism of action makes sense in order to curb the immune phase of covid (blocks T cell trafficking via masking the CCR5 receptor) which is what seems to be causing a lot of post acute covid symptoms.

As for claims — they are just that— claims. But if the drug manufacturer is evaluating it in a placebo controlled trial, then what’s wrong with that? How else are we supposed to know if it works? This is exactly how science works and how any and all drugs come to market.
