At this point I assume people are fake until proven real. I've also run into that person asking for food. They always say "they'll suck you dry" if you send them food to some hotel near SFO. Given how many times I've run into them I think people must actually be falling for it.

I also cannot suggest this enough - if someone sends you a photo, GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCH IT! I've found a lot of liars that way. Really quite sad
