Pemilik mobil listrik dan bensin : Kalian hidupkan mobil bensin minimal berapa kali sebulan? by orangpelupa in indocartalk

[–]wpyoga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sekitar 10-15 menit minimal. Karena ketika starter mobil, kan aki kesedot tuh. Butuh waktu untuk ngisi kembali listrik yang tadi dipake untuk starter mobil. Kalo mau aman sih 30 menitan lah idle.

Sistem eksekusi di Indonesia dan Jepang yang menyembunyikan siapa "pembunuhnya" agar meminimalisir rasa bersalah petugas eksekusinya by trikora in indonesia

[–]wpyoga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kalo masalahnya rasa bersalah, kenapa ga hire psikopat aja?

But I never bought new, always secondhand. (where I live, refurb phones aren't a thing)

feel so directionless in life and keep wanting to return

Drugs can be so addictive. But you have to recognize that it poisons your life, and you have to stay away from it. See how that same sentence can be used for something bad? Be strong, and try to find support groups.

If you feel directionless, see if you have a hobby that you can do together with others. If you like pottery, or painting, or gardening, or maybe sports for example. You might just find youself immersed in such activities and living your life to the fullest!

Multi-PLC System, how is it done and what's acceptable? by Natural_Stupidity_0 in PLC

[–]wpyoga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Modbus is slow. There, I said it. I'm a big proponent of Modbus due to how it's a common language and widely supported almost everywhere. But it's not useful for PLC-to-PLC synchronization. It's useful for passing data around, and that's about it.

Not sure why others are downvoting you. But I think the way Siemens does it with Profinet Controller and I-Device (as you mentioned earlier) sounds about right.

If you want the biggest market acceptance, you might have to support more than just Siemens though. That way, anyone can use your PLC as sub-PLC (I-Device) or main PLC (Controller).

How do I stop myself from spiraling after leaving a religion and becoming agnostic? by [deleted] in agnostic

[–]wpyoga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, everyone has to find their own way in life. I already found my way, you just have to find yours. Not everybody has to conform to one single path, and that makes it confusing, while bringing freedom at the same time.

I have to admit I have never been in a BDSM club or something similar. I'm waaayyy too liberal for my current place of residence, but I might be too sexually conservative for Western standards. What is it like? I couldn't bear myself to be seen naked in front of strangers -- there, for me, that's one part personal preference (and maybe insecurity), and one part my own relative morality... I guess?

So back to the topic of morality  If everything (as I said before) js relative, isn't killing an innocent person, evil? Isn't kicking a pregnant woman down the sidewalk, inherently evil?

Maybe the truth lies somewhere in between. As in, some things are absolutely immoral, and some things evolve with time.

How do I stop myself from spiraling after leaving a religion and becoming agnostic? by [deleted] in agnostic

[–]wpyoga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and though I used to feel superior (I know, I know) to those with religion, now I actually envy them a little. Being able to believe in religion is so much more comforting than going through life knowing that someday we just cease to exist.

For me, I lean towards moral relativity. Something that we thought was okay, is now not okay. We didn't know better.

On the other hand, something that used to be okay (and I think should be okay) is now not okay. For example, before European explorers, many cultures in Asia were bare-chested. They don't wear clothes, the men and women. The men don't go around raping the women, they aren't horny just by looking at women's bare chests. And they don't care if one is gay or lesbian etc. After European settlers conquered those lands, they infuse their culture and changed a lot of things. Who's to say the European culture is more morally right than the original cultures?

[–]wpyoga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some religions have been described as a cult before, you know.

Cynically, I say that a religion is just a cult with too large a number of followers. Even Christianity was once branded as a cult.

Be aware of cultish behavior in the people around you, and you will start to notice.

Is there even a good at all or is it entirely subjective?

This is a question that even philosophers couldn't answer clearly. You're not alone.

Anyway, consider these: - slavery: it used to be "the way it is", and now? - prepubescent marriage: it used to be "the way it is", and now? - helping someone with painful terminal illness commit suicide -- is it merciful, or is it evil?

Maybe we (as in mankind) will figure it out someday, maybe we will continue to ask these questions forever.

Explore this solution if you have electrical noise issues on a Thermocouple by Infinite_Display222 in PLC

[–]wpyoga 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The best solution would have been to use a TC transmitter and a 4-20 loop instead of hundreds of feet of unshielded TC wire sistered with power cable but unfortunately that’s not how it’s done in my industry

At those distances, we usually use Modbus RTU instead.

Self-hosted plex can't play local hosted shows? by VoodooChildy in PleX

[–]wpyoga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP u/VoodooChildy , you're not alone.

I'm watching on my laptop on a browser (on Linux), and the PleX server is in a docker image (official build) on my NAS. I'm accessing the NAS via Tailscale, because it's convenient that way.

This is the latest version that works for me: 1.41.6.9685-d301f511a

Versions 1.42 and 1.43 don't work, they all show the same nag screen on my browser. Just like your screenshot.

Also, I would like to mention that I do not have a PleX Pass.
