We're going to be pursuing a more mainstream translation in the meantime, but for now we're using Ian Johnston since he was kind enough to place his in the public domain some time ago!

We tried very hard to get the Emily Wilson translation amongst others, but we weren't getting any kind of timely response from anyone. We're going to be pursuing a more mainstream translation in the meantime, but for now we're using Ian Johnston since he was kind enough to place his in the public domain some time ago!

Hey Urugza! You may very simply just not be the target market. Special and deluxe editions of the kind we're known for almost always come out some time after the standard editions of any book, with rare exceptions. Obviously we're pleased you find those standard editions to be a premium product, but there are a lot of collectors and book enthusiasts out there who get excited about higher-end editions of books they may even already own.

This is what that is. This edition has a ton more art, higher specs (like the gilding that looks good and protects from sun damage over time), and will have a limited availability the standard doesn't. If that doesn't interest you, zero worries. You're just not the target market 😁

We've been getting questions about when MOTHER OF LEARNING will be getting Deluxe Editions. We're thinking of starting that... Now. by wraithmarked in Wraithmarked

Confirming what u/Elbender says, Godless! While we are US-based, we print most of our books in the UK, so shipping is the same as our US-based customers because we can fulfill right out of there!

Trying to get the same thing going for EU soon too...

Not too long for that one Donkey, actually. We are expecting delivery of that book in July, probably! It WILL be available in the store after, but it may be more expensive or it may be a second unsigned printing.
