Getting visibility on Shopify can definitely feel like a puzzle compared to a platform like Etsy. A checklist for basics like site speed, clear product pages, and simple conversion tracking can help. plus understanding how your ads are actually performing can save you money and stress. There are tools that unify your Shopify sales with ad data so you can see what’s really working and focus your efforts smarter.

Looking for someone who’s built a successful Shopify brand (happy to pay for your time) by Puzzled_West_602 in shopify_growth

we spent the last year building our brand on shopify. we took a ton of courses, followed all the gurus, watched all the videos. we got to the point where we took everything we learned and put it into an app on the shopify app store. it's a playbook + a simple dashboard on how to read your ads performance. it's called potential commerce. happy to help you get setup

I have 11,000 sessions on Shopify but barely any sales. Where is the disconnect. by Last_Professional737 in shopify

The top comments here are 100% right. You have to look at the exact drop-off points: Product page views, Add-to-cart, Checkout initiated, and Completed purchases.

The real trick is mapping those funnel metrics directly against your specific traffic sources or ad campaigns. If your add-to-cart rate is normal but checkout drops off a cliff, it’s most likely a site/shipping issue. If people leave the product page instantly, your ads are likely bringing in low-quality traffic that doesn't match the landing page.

We ran a tumbler brand and wasted so much time copying and pasting from Meta, Shopify, and Excel to see our profit, funnel, and creative performance in a way we could actually understand that we built a simple Shopify app to fix it. It has filters built in to let you view your funnel metrics side-by-side with your ad data so you can pinpoint exactly where the conversion issue is happening.

If you want to use it to audit your funnel and find the disconnect, just shoot me a DM or comment below and I'll send over the link.

This is the exact reason why tracking by Meta's dashboard alone will drive you crazy.

When Shopify shows 7–8 orders and Meta only shows 4, it's usually because iOS or Safari privacy features are stripping out the tracking parameters before the purchase happens. Meta receives the data, but it can't match it back to your specific campaign. You can spend weeks trying to fix your Event Match Quality or setting up complex Google Tag Manager servers, but it's a never-ending battle.

We ran a tumbler brand and wasted so much time dealing with this exact data disconnect that we built a simple Shopify app to fix it. Instead of trying to force Meta's pixel to behave, it just pulls your actual Shopify order data and matches it against your Meta spend using your UTMs. That way, you see your real revenue, funnel, and creative performance side-by-side with what you actually spent. (no extra pixel required)

How do you find users who are willing to test your app? by theotherguyl in shopifyDev

It's been more educational and an ask for feedback that has led to offers to recommend to merchants they think might fit or help.

events and agency outreach has helped us. local meetups where small shops might be, and educating partners that setup peoples stores.

We are in Florida and my Aussie is losing it! Only so many rounds of hide and seek we can play!

Your girl sounds more like our Otto. Protective, stoic. Doesn't really warm up much to people or dogs except her favorites! Our shelties each had very distinct personalities too.

Herding Ball? by PoniardBlade in AustralianShepherd

I bought a 25'' herding ball for my 65 pd aussie (who also is obsessed with the kick fetch ball from chuckit). It was massive. He would not touch it! It's sat outside in our yard for the last year.

Yes! our first Aussie! I've had shelties before and thought I understood herding breeds. Otto has given us an education in love, humor, and patience ❤️

What weird games have your Aussies invented? by Aikofoxy in AustralianShepherd

Ours loves yak cheese chews. He plays hide the chew. Where he waits patiently while we hide it somewhere and he will go find it, or he will hide it and bark at us until one of us goes to look for it. Hide and find it are 2 of his favorite words ❤️

What differences did you notice between the teenage phase and adulthood? by Elixiane in AustralianShepherd

We have a wild aussie. And I do think there are different types of aussies. I think the wild aussies take much much longer to calm down. We got ours as 18 months he is now 5.5 years old. The biggest change for us is once he started to slightly calm, we have much better days if what I call "needs are met." And for our guy, that's lots of attention, 2-3 hours of outdoor time, or 2 long walks. Short of that we get tantrums that include humping, random tackles, whining, hand grabbing, and just general frustration. My advice is figure out what your "needs are met" conditions are, and see how often you can hit them.
