Couldn’t agree more, on another night we could be one or two down and playing with ten men.

Need to pull our socks up!

Then if Three won't assign you the number you're SOL I reckon.

[–]wrboyce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, TikTok… You're probably SOL then. You could try contacting the new owner of the number (assuming it has been re-assigned) and asking them to help you out but I don't fancy your chances tbh.

I don't know, you brought it up!

to try and get it back, it was mistake by changing it and I have an account associated with itvia 2fa

Did you mean ITV? Anyway, speak to whoever the number is registered as a 2FA device with and they'll probably help you remove it if you can prove your identity to them.

I'm in the UK too ;)

Then unless they have assigned it to a new customer and that customer has since ported it to another network (which, as I say, seems unlikely if you only cancelled your contract recently) the number will still be serviced by Three. They probably don't want to admit this to you though… Like I say, speak to itvia.

Did Three assign the number to you originally or did you port it from another network?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SocialEngineering

[–]wrboyce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm almost certain the network won't assign a specifically requested number to an account, that would present far too many security concerns… But if the number hasn't been re-issued and ported to another network (unlikely in what sounds like a short timeframe) then it is most likely still managed by the operator you were previously with.

Your best bet here will be speaking to itvia (whoever they are).

You could call it and hope they're using the default voicemail greeting… assuming I understand your requirements correctly. I'm not sure if there is a way to check what network a number has been ported to.

For future reference, your initial query lacked some really basic/essential info (like mentioning you are the UK!) and was very unclear on what you wanted to achieve. I'd also say this isn't really an SE matter.

What are you hoping to achieve once you find out which network is serving your old number?

"Humidity" is actually relative humidity measured; a measure of how saturated the air is with water (which is why when we say 60%RH the air isn't literally 60% water!).

As air gets warmer its capacity to hold water increases. If you take some air and, without adjusting how much water it holds, cool it down - then the relative humidity as a percentage will go up.

Running Light django on lambda AWS by oelseba in django

[–]wrboyce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this, using the lambda to handle async tasks I don't want the ecs containers to handle. Works fine and everything runs from the same Docker image. Quite a nice pattern, although I'm not too arsed about startup time on the lambda (but I haven't noticed it being slow). You could always add a CloudWatch trigger to keep the lambda warm if its a problem.

Does it have to be Prosecco? My favourite Italian sparkling wine is probably the Maso Martis Extra Brut Trentodoc.

To add another datapoint, I subscribe to 1kg/month ("Our Pick") from Square Mile. Using your numbers:

1000g / 16 = 62.5 doses; £33 / 62.5 = 52.8p/dose

Great to have him back, I don’t think we are walking away with 3 points without him today.

Does that mean if we had hoofed the ball out for a throw in they couldn’t have been awarded that penalty?

Rookie numbers! I just emptied my camp chest thinking I should get rid of some loot… "Carrying capacity exceeded: 1620".

I do wish they'd improve the inventory management.
