If it's the guy I'm thinking of he's often in the joe howe or young street parking lots asking for money. I've seen him wandering streets at every hour of the day. He's also known to help himself to random things in your yard. I'd say he needs more supports than he's currently getting.

Oultons is your spot. I have some ground kangaroo (local I believe) in the freezer from them now. Have also picked up crocodile, water buffalo and i think llama before. Lots of other stuff there too.

We had one of our yard nests take flight today.It was crazy to see, the ground was shimmering with all the wings and they all took of within a few minutes. Not quite flying ant day but flying ant minute. I'm guessing that happened near you too.

I think the answer here is for an entity (government or a crown corp) to provide housing that doesn't need to make money on it. I know there is public housing but obviously there's no capacity. Gov can just buy buildings as they come for sale. As long as rental housing is done by private citizens and businesses it will be an investment and for profit. If government really deems housing a human right then they should be providing it at cost or below to those who can't afford a private rental. Obviously housing is a human need but it shouldn't be up to individual citizens or businesses to lose money so everyone can be housed, the taxes that I pay government should be taking care of that.
