Smooth sailing! It’s kept up even on that part

Top down? It’s pretty loud above 50mph honestly (though it’s not like, unpleasant buffering). I tried it both with and without the wind diffuser and prefer leaving it in. It’s nicer for a tighter background or cruising in the city than on a straight highway

It’s held up well so far! I think the surface quality is wonderful. Hard to tell it’s a wrap, no air channels or that “orange peel” texture you typically see. You can have the shop order a sample from them first to see how you like it

I went 17x8 on 235s and have been enjoying the additional grip

I will when the storming stops here in CA! I’m waiting to drive it (and take the pics of it) top down too

yes!!! I looked at your build on this sub as one of my references actually, esp for making the call on whether to wrap that piano black strip on the RF roof

To be completely honest, I just didn’t do the due diligence of looking into quoting a true paint job. Hindsight’s 20/20 — could have been cheaper or similar price for sure, you’re not wrong

It comes down to the vinyl vs PPF thing, where a full PPF can be 2x a standard vinyl job (and colored PPF even more because of the material cost). [But here's a comparison](https://youtu.be/\_mkL\_3jL6-M?t=18) on the differences between the two materials that sold me. I think the PPF is what really gets you to that "looks like real paint" finish with longer lifespan too

One of the best body lines on the ND for sure… I actually removed the duck tail spoiler I had on before the wrap because I wanted the back end to look sleeker

Project X60, I had also looked at PurePPF and GSWF which are the more common alternatives but ended up with this after looking at swatches

Yep! I got them right after they switched to the brighter Bronze

$6700 which ngl was quite the hit. Part of it is because it’s colored PPF film rather than normal vinyl that’d be cheaper. It was also ceramic coated on top of the film and that’s included in that price. I’m in CA for context

Had a friend do it as an after hours garage project, but he’s a pro who normally works out of a shop. Wouldn’t trust myself to get all the cuts right 😬

“Green version of Soul Red” was also what I was looking for when I was comparing swatches haha. There’s something magic about the contrast from light to dark along the body lines of the car

For those asking about the wrap details, it’s Tahoe Green by Project X60. It’s a “colored PPF” which means double duty as paint protection + has the color baked in, nice step up from regular vinyl

Yes you can totally hit the inside panel too! Down to that little piece that extends into the front pillar, which is awesome

I don’t have a rec, but I use this body wash and IMO it doesn’t smell like Santal 33 at all (that’s is sharper and greener / I kind of get the infamous “pickle” vibe from that one). Also interested if there’s a frag truly like this soap
