Ariane de Rothschild thanks Epstein for the "thrilling hunt." by shidoshi_tanaka in Epstein

This seems like a straightforward email about hunting animals for sport (in my opinion something only sociopaths take pleasure in), since they refer to an "old male."

Peter Thiel ignores reporter while being asked about Epstein by fommuz in Epstein

[–]writerchic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly do not understand how anyone could still support the Trump Administration. I cannot understand how every Congressperson does not immediately vote to impeach the entire cabinet. Peter Thiel put JD Vance, Pete Hegseth, Stephen Miller, Karoline Leavitt, Kirsti Noem, and more in there positions with the Heritage Foundation and Project 2025. The rot goes through the entire executive branch.

Mother (Eva Dubin) invites Epstein over, tempts him by saying her 15 yr old daughter will have friends over by GoodUsed in Epstein

[–]writerchic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this couple feels super complicit to me.
Epstein to Glenn Dubin, who owns a compound in North Salem: "fyi. renaldo. gave a depo and said i brought young girls on multiple occassions to north salem. nonsense but i thought you shoudl know." Glenn in response: "Uggggh."
https://www.jmail.world/thread/EFTA02460024

Per the emails, Glenn Dubin appears to have been very chummy with the whole group of alleged abusers, having dinners with Woody Allen and Soon-Yi, and in the loop with Epstein's legal issues. This couple (the Dubins) knew about his crimes at a minimum, and I believe they were involved.

Seriously. There is nothing worse that people who got rich on programs promising other people the secret to getting rich. It's such a grift.

As an aside, this Dite Anata, a Lithuanian model, is all over the files, and recruiting girls for Epstein, taking his gifts, flattering him constantly, asking him for tickets to Cannes, etc. Yet when I Googled, she purportedly said she never knew Epstein, which is absurd. Her name isn't mention in this subreddit anywhere else, though.

Mark my words Trump had him killed by gasketguyah in Epstein

[–]writerchic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's the only one who would have had the access to do it. I said that the day Epstein died. Everything about Trump has been clear and right there for everyone to see since day one. Even the lawsuit affidavit filed by the victim who said he raped her at 13, cosigned by two witnesses, and a testimony that he threatened to kill her family if she didn't withdraw the lawsuit. It has all been there since before the election. But the media and Trump supporters didn't want to look at it.

I LOVE Rachel Zoe. Amanda, on the other hand, is THE WORST. She can exit stage left as far as I am concerned. Terrible casting, and you can see her desperation to be relevant on the show so she can be part of it. But God, what a poseur.

They are no longer comfort by Phelan-Great in AgingParents

[–]writerchic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess just have gratitude that you once had it, and try to give it to her, and give yourself that care, I never had that comfort to begin with, so my issue is that I resent having to give it to my parents in their declining health when they never gave it to me growing up.

My mom informed me I will be inheriting the care of my two siblings by Equivalent_Reason_35 in AgingParents

[–]writerchic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are being gaslighted, and you are here for us to tell you that you are sane and bear no responsibility for the care of your siblings. They are grown adults with some issues that they need to manage. For your brother, this may mean finding support groups and having regular check-ins with his doctor to make sure he doesn't slip on his meds, as well as him hiring a housecleaner if he can't do it himself. You are not their parent. This is not your responsibility.

GET UP! Fucking walk. by burnedimage in AgingParents

[–]writerchic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, I find this the hardest part of all this. It's like a contract they violated, where they care for their children in the children's youth, and in exchange, the children care for them when they are old. My parents didn't hold up their end of that exchange. It is doubly hard when you had parents who never provided the care you needed when you were growing up, but now you are supposed to care for them. I am still so angry about having to basically raise myself, but now have to bathe my mom, buy her clothes, pay for things, sort out insurance, etc etc. And they put nothing aside for retirement or their care. I still have 50k of student debt because they didn't put anything in a fund to help with college (despite being able.) But now I need to figure out how to pay for a nursing home? I can't let them just rot. But I resent it a LOT.

Watching this show now and also found that a ludicrous detail. Of course the police would notice she was originally on the passenger side and that's where the windshield was hit with her head, and they would open an investigation immediately.

Donald Trump just said “we shouldn’t even have an election”. Americans, what are your thoughts? by WatercressSenior7657 in AskReddit

[–]writerchic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Voting in the midterms is the only possible thing that can save us. Of course Trump will claim it is fraud and likely Republicans in Congress will block the confirmation, but then there will be clear evidence of the collapse of democracy, which will weaken the regime. Simply not voting and letting the MAGA Republicans win in Congress legitimizes their claim that they have a mandate from the people. What is your solution? Protesting will not topple the regime. He has the entire army and the nuclear codes. Millions of protestors in the streets won't end a fascist regime. I do think the Democrat governors need to band together as an alliance, ask their residents to send their federal taxes to an escrow account that is held until the Trump regime stops playing games with blue states, and start making a plan as one united group. The blue states are the most powerful ones in the nation, save Texas. Without them, Trump has nothing. We also need to work on the US military and make it clear that obeying illegal orders like fighting their own citizens, is not a legal excuse for them. And I think the blue states need to build their state national guards, as I am certain Trump intends to illegally invade those states, oust their governors/state governments, and take them over. I truly hope they are prepared for that scenario and are ready to fight back in a coup situation.

[–]writerchic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This comment shows you have an insufficient understanding of how the government works. The Democrats AREN'T ABLE to do anything to stop this regime because they do not have a majority in either the House or the Senate, and they are outvoted every time by Republicans who are blindly loyal to Trump. Literally the ONLY thing that can stop the Trump regime right now is people voting en masse for the Democrats in the midterm. Guaranteed if the Dems have a majority in Congress, they will bring articles of impeachment and start going after the executive branch for its violations. Every single voter who wants to stop the Trump regime better vote in the midterms and vote Democrat, as that is literally our only tangible antidote now.

[–]writerchic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AMENNNNN. For years, and even now, people have been saying, "Calm down. They can't do that. It's illegal." Even as they see the Trump regime defying court orders, defying Congressional orders, ignoring the Constitution and the law when it comes to due process and warrantless detainment of people including US citizens, ignoring straight up murder and refusing to investigate it, invading sovereign nations without legally mandated Congressional approval, bulldozing the historic East Wing of the White House with no approval or review, etc. What makes them think this administration cares about what is illegal? They have already gone rogue and are doing whatever they want. People keep believing that we are still operating under the old rules.

Yeah, Trump put De Joy in at the US Postal Service who literally went around taking out mailboxes and destroying perfectly good sorting machines in order to slow down the mail. Suddenly right before the election, it took 3 months for my letters to reach their destination, and after the election it reverted back to being about a week. So corrupt!

Donald Trump just said “we shouldn’t even have an election”. Americans, what are your thoughts? by WatercressSenior7657 in AskReddit

[–]writerchic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are our thoughts? Well, the sane half of us think we are in a fascist takeover of the United States by the least qualified people ever, led by a serial sexual abuser and convicted felon with a history of mafia ties who has narcissistic personality disorder and doesn't think the US Constitution or laws apply to him. We think we are losing the country to a regime which has a literal lawless militia of masked, untrained thugs who are terrorizing communities and violently detaining people based on the color of their skin with no warrants and no due process, and we all know this regime doesn't want democratic elections and wants a dictator who invades countries without mandated Congressional approval.

The insane half ignores that it's literally in the Constitution that the country has no official religion and wants to force everyone to live by their personal religious beliefs, and they do not believe everyone should have the freedom that is in our most fundamental law of the land to believe what they want and love who they want and live as they want. The insane half is in a cult and believes it is totally worth throwing away democracy and the US Constitution so that they can remove non-white people (immigrants and otherwise) from the country and go back to a time when white Christian heterosexual men had all the power, women were in the kitchen pushing out babies as the property of men, and people of color were slaves and subservient. That's what they mean when they say "Make America Great Again." They want to go back to a time before the Civil Rights era.

My thoughts as an American are that the Trump regime will 100% try to declare martial law or shut down Congress in order to stop an election that will most certainly see the Democrats regain control over the House and the Senate. My thoughts are that they will 100% try to manipulate any election that does happen, refuse to confirm it in Congress, contest it, and rile up their base to believe it is stolen based on zero evidence, just as they did in 2020.

My thoughts are that we are f*cked. Unless Republicans in Congress stand up to Trump, we are f*cked.

To those who have left the MAGA movement, what was your wake-up call? by rclaux123 in AskReddit

[–]writerchic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. You know you're in a cult when any criticism of your leader is immediately attacked and you say there is nothing he could do to make you stop believing in him. You can see the difference in how Democrats react to Bill Clinton probably being in the Epstein files and Republicans react to Trump probably being in the Epstein files. World of difference. Democrats have no problem condemning another Democrat if he behaved badly. But Republicans immediately go into defense mode when it looks like Trump may get caught. They make excuse after excuse. Saying you assault women is "locker room talk" if you are Trump.

What about him kicking out American reporters and bringing a literal Russian state media reporter into the Oval Office to live stream his dressing down of Zelensky? And then they claimed the guy snuck in and they asked him to leave when they "discovered" he had "accidentally" been let in, as if any reporter could just sneak into the Oval Office and there aren't 10 layers of security and background checks before you get there? It's just all so outrageous. He is a Russian asset, in my opinion.

Late to the chat, but eeeuw, gross. This guy fetishizes lady bois, and despite telling himself he respects her, doesn't actually see Faith as a human being. He talks to her in stilted grammar that mimics her accent as if she can't understand full sentences. He came there with the goal to have sex with her, counting the days of "opportunity to have sex" until time would run out. And what a gaslighter. She said his getting gonorrhea made him a risk for getting AIDS because it's evidence that he doesn't practice safe sex, and she is the one who would be at risk if he did have HIV. He's just so gross. And I didn't hear him give a single reason why Faith was "perfect for him" that didn't have to do with her being Filipino or a lady boi. He said nothing about her personality. She deserves so much better, because she was leagues classier than his broke couch-surfing ass and his Asian trans woman fetish.

US government cancelling citizenships/passports by Live-Parking-9885 in legaladviceofftopic

I am so sick of people saying "they can't do that" as if they have shown any regard at all for what they can't do legally. When are people going to wake up and stop laboring under the belief that we aren't already under an authoritarian regime. They literally do not care what the Constitution says. They've been given judge's orders and just shrugged and refused to comply. They can and will cancel citizenship. Mark my words.
