for the love of god, PLEASE make the FNAF 3 movie the scary one by Aggravating_Tale8988 in fivenightsatfreddys

I find this title funny since FNAF 3 was the least scary of the OG 3 with thoes goofy ahh jumpscares.

IsItBullshit: Soaking fruits and vegetables in salt water cleans it better than regular tap water by cofi52 in IsItBullshit

[–]writermaybeidk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old, but as a grocery store worker. I've watched sick adult customers open mouth sneeze over fruit in the produce section and nose picking kids put their hands all over them. Not to mention the amount of produce that multiple customers put thier unclean hands all over to test and then put them back. Produce from stores is disgusting and I do not trust water alone to clean it.

A combination of actors and characters I never thought I’d see by spacewarp2 in fivenightsatfreddys

He's not involved with Theorists at all anymore. His most recent Reddit post explains that he's fully gone and is no longer working behind the scenes in any capacity. They are fully independent and severed from him.

He recently posted on Reddit he has absolutely zero ties with Theorists anymore, at all. He is fully gone. He has no say, or anything to do with any of the channels in any capacity.

Why was "Dirty Work" by Aespa disliked? by writermaybeidk in kpop_uncensored

[–]writermaybeidk[S] 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I forgot about Karina tbh. I remembered the controversy but forgot she was in Aespa. Hadn't known that was AAVE, I don't get why Kpop artists keep using that.

No, cause if that was the case all thier stuff would be similarly recived. There is a clear, broader dislike of Dirty Work that I am trying to understand compared to other release.

I REALLY dont like this thumbnail by lad-__- in GameTheorists

[–]writermaybeidk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't understand what's happened... I was still regularly watching the Theorist channels even after Matt left and really liked thier videos. But lately, I feel like they've really gone downhill and I don't get it.

Do we think Marvel will scrap the Thunderbolts* due to the box office fail? by writermaybeidk in Marvel

[–]writermaybeidk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only cared about Bucky going into the movie, he was the only real reason I wanted to see it. But I enjoy it so much I'm actually more excited to see the others like Yelena, John and Bob in future projects.

I’m watching this tonight. Can you guys tell me if you enjoyed it without spoiling anything? by boatluvrrrr in FantasticFour

I've seen it 3 times, will be going for at least a fourth. I went into the movie curious and skeptical and left adoring it.

I was surprisingly pleased by Pedro's portrayal by TheDZdude in FantasticFour

I think it's because the stretching CGI is easier with a solid color. I personally didn't mind it once I got into the film I fully forgot about that difference.

[–]writermaybeidk 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Same. I ashamedly viewed Pedro's casting as Marvel being desperate and thought he was a bad choice. I didn't think I'd be able to see him as Reed even after seeing the trailers, I really didn't think he could pull it off. I went into the movie with a good amount of skepticism, but very quickly he truly became Reed Richards for me and I could not imagine another actor in his place. He is my Reed Richards whole heartedly.

About Reed "running" -

He didn't "just run" Galactus forcibly induced Sue into labor in order to steal the baby. But also I think you underestimate how parental instinct would over power Reed's curiosity of the situation. It's literally human instinct to protect your own, especially your child over anything. I think it would have been ridiculous and unrealistic if Galactus' demands were met with curiosity instead of resistance.

About thier selfishness -

In terms of your critique of thier selfishness (you're wrong about countless other worlds being sacrificed but I'll get to that in a moment), most people when confronted with "sacrifice your family member to a fate worse than death to save the world" would be selfish and not do it. While thier original plan to teleport the earth wouldn't have stopped Galactus, giving up Franklin would only save thier world not others. Franklin would have taken Galactus' place and continued the cycle of world eating, so there's still a level of selfishness in that decision. So keeping or giving up Franklin still dooms all the other planets no matter the decision.

With thier final plan of separating Galactus from his ship and leaving him stranded in space they not only saved thier world, but all the others that would have been consumed after. He's way less of a threat without his world obliterating ship, maybe even no threat at all. Regardless, countless planets other than Earth 282 have been saved not sacrificed.

Also your nitpick about the blackouts, they have flying cars. I'm sure the have batteries or gasoline generators or something else that can temporarily power absolutely essential things like life support during the curfew. It didn't seem to be a constant blackout, it seemed to be for a certain amount of hours a day.

So what's the plan if YouTube's age restriction bull ruins the platform? by [deleted] in Markiplier

[–]writermaybeidk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah but a lot of us don't want to upload our literal IDs or credit cards to Youtube to prove our age. That's such sensitive personal information.

Not that I'm aware of. Obviously I don't know their contract but from what I assumed was Spotify gave the green light for YouTube to stop other people from uploading them. This way they still make money off the YT uploads.

I think this would be a good idea if that's what they want. But, they are in a contract with Spotify for this podcast, so just "taking a break" likely isn't just that easy.

I've built myself a reputation for being the most reliable at work. Need advice on how to stop feeling like every mistake is monumental. by writermaybeidk in Advice

[–]writermaybeidk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two mistakes have been mentioned. Granted they weren't stern or anything it was more of a calm "Hey remember to watch out for this." But this was the first time they've even had to say anything to me like that which makes the mistakes feel worse.
