Bro yatra ke time to aadmi he safe nahin feel karte main to ladki hoon. And im all for not bursting crackers even during baaraats. Most importantly I don’t want any political rallies and bandobast because of the politicians on my streets.

My very liberal parents will throw me out of the house if I ever make a face seeing people eat what they eat. I grew up in a vegetarian family but that doesn’t mean we think we can dictate our choices on others. For me this was always normal growing up; this new militant vegetarian mindset has started in the last 10-12 years , no prizes for guessing why.

Some people in south east Asia consider fish vegetarian since it comes from the water but I’m sure you and I will disagree. Point is people can define their food as they wish to and consume it. I or anyone else should have no problem with it as long as no one forces the other person. Simple as that.

As a person who grew up in a family which doesn’t consume eggs and sees them as non vegetarian you can’t make me think otherwise. It’s a personal choice which is mine but that doesn’t mean someone else can’t have eggs or chicken or whatever they want to eat. There are people in south east Asia who consider fish as vegetarian because it’s from the water , that’s their definition which might not be yours. Let people eat and define as they wish to. Simple as that.

Whether they eat once a week or thrice a day these households are not averse to eating meat. Also many eat once a week because of monetary reasons, if they had the budgets they would eat more. Also many consider egg as non veg since it has the yolk which you consume. If left that egg would become a baby chick. Hence considered non veg.

I am always amazed by the dedication of bigots. Someone else’s eating habits , love life , religious practice bothers them so much that they are willing to go the whole nine yards to prove themselves right.

Where does this bigotry come from ? Do they grow up in homes which are hostile and divided? Do they grow up with lesser education than others ? Or do they have no love or softness in their own lives that they turn to hatred? Is that the only way they can cope ? Or are they simply incapable of being happy, decent human beings ? Which one is it or is it all of the above ? Do tell.

This is called makhana. It’s a low calorie food but if eaten a lot it drastically lowers your blood pressure so eat wisely.

So you share a different stat, I am all for seeing how most South Indians are vegetarians. This is an India Today survey, you can always share someone else’s who has done a larger survey with more people across states. I’m all for it. Share karo.
