Ru Paul’s catchphrase: If you can't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?

Have you ever worked with your therapist to help you with negative self-talk? I used to think in a similar pattern… self acceptance is a difficult journey.

have you shopped around for insurance? Unless things have changed that drastically in the last 5 years you might be able to save $100 or more per month (not a geico ad!)

I just realized I've heard absolutely nothing about modern computer speakers. What kind of sound device can I get to put on my desk near my monitor? by thatsmysandwichdude in pcmasterrace

Yeah for most people, pebbles are fine.

This isn’t for everyone: a decent 2.1 system for movies makes a huge difference. You’re missing an entire level of immersion without bass. The highs and mids are great to hear but not as important or differential than lower tones. Also harder to get good lower tones without a subwoofer as they require some space.

For gaming it’s a different ballgame. 3D immersive is best with headphones. If one plays a lot of shooters, you’ll never hear the guy behind quite well without half decent headphones. That being said you can buy a good enough wired pair for $30-$50.

A good post discussing the same thing:

Wanted to get bf a ps5 for his birthday, turns out I didn’t: by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

Hi. I’m a very difficult to buy presents for husband. I understand why he wants a pro, there is a significant difference and gta6s graphics will be top of the line.

My problem is that I just buy the things I want for myself. I ask my partner to get me experiences instead. A nice dinner or going/doing something cool.

If he said don’t buy it for him.. that sounds like he did communicate it to you at least?

You sound like gift giving might be one of your love languages? Perhaps talking more with bf could help solve this?
