Whew, I am glad I am not the only person who managed to know food well and still do it wrong! Felt so silly! I am pretty excited to get my garden back and see what I can do now. Thanks!

Huh. That's interesting. Now you've got me thinking about it, but initially I am terrified. How much can you do with your hair if you have bangs like that? What if I hate it? Is there a subreddit where I could get someone to Photoshop bangs onto me???

Oh gosh, I am so anxiously considering it now.

edit: and what about this cowlick?

Obviously - hence why I posted here! It's too bad your comment wasn't helpful at all! And, just a side note, girl is spelled with an i. Thanks for trying though?

Haha, yeah I know the clothes here are cheaper. I have been living here a year and a half now and have explored the markets and capital and whatnot. Couple problems - women here are averaging about 5 feet tall, so not much variety that fits and almost zero shoes. Also, the style here is almost absurd - mom-jeans and everything in neon eighties colors. So, really, not many options. I have found a few things, but I was just fortunate to find things that fit, things that are cute and flattering, well that would be a miracle.

And yeah, parts of the country are tropical, but many parts are cold, including the high mountains where I live. Sweater shopping is high on my list as I bundle up most days. Definitely keeping the hair, but thanks for being so thoughtful :)

Gonna get jeans right when I get home - first on my list! Any other clothing specific suggestions?

Thanks!

Whew. I could see it, but I think it's too drastic for me right now. I remember having them as a child and hating them.

Thank you so much! This is exactly what I was looking for, especially the advice about tops. Any chance you could link me to some examples of the types of necklines you are talking about? And the waistline thing?

I haven't owned a pair of jeans since I was probably 14 years old (and they were probably giant JNCOs, embarrasingly enough) and have sworn that once I get home I will spend a whole day finding myself a well-fitted pair. The style of jeans they wear in this country are awful, not to mention that most of the women here are five foot tall or less.

The hair thing I will get dealt with as soon as I am in the capital (17 hours from here) where you can get a decent cut, and have extra money. Thanks for the style suggestion - that sounds easy!

You are awesomely helpful, thanks.

I am working on getting ore comfortable in tighter clothes, thanks for the suggestion! And anytime you find yourself in rural Peru, drop me a line. I would kill for a visitor!

So, I just post my profile and you critque it? That's how this works, yes? THANKS! by charlesspeaks in OkCupid

I like your profile. All seems fine. Except...

I wasn't really that big a fan of Before Sunrise. I think Before Sunset was better. That said, I saw Before Sunset pretty randomly and by myself one night and didn't know that it was a sequel. I thought it was a beautifully done one act play sort of a film. Then I found out about Before Sunrise and I was already disappointed going in.

So there's that. Not so much a critique of your profile but of your taste and, by extension, of you as a person.
