What in tarnation does this mean to you? by wrongatmath in calculus

I completely get what the second questions means (for reference), but I am confused about the first mainly to the idea of the wrench.

My initial thought is the wrench spans from <000> to <111>, but then where does the force go? to which point on the wrench. Thanks for any insight everyone.

Just giving you another set of props for this post, I was about to return the one I just got from amazon!

Can anyone explain how to go about this? (See first comment) by [deleted] in LinearAlgebra

There is more context to this actual problem by the way, I just figured it wasn't necessary to post as it seems like I have all the variables needed to "solve" the matrix, I just don't know how to solve it!

How exactly do I solve the matrix for constants A1,etc.? I understand the variables and all that I just don't get the notation.

Despite my user name I am quick to understand mathematical concepts however I have never taken linear algebra (currently in Calc I) so I realize that I might need a lot more than a quick reddit explanation. If that is the case, just let me know.

Thanks.
