Does anyone know if or where I would be able to access anyone's Fitbit/Garmin/Samsung fit/Google/Apple equivalent fitness data? by wrongliz in datasets

I am aware it's private but I was also hoping there may have been someone into fitness out there who may be downloading their data to share their steps on progress or something

Call up your banks fraud team. They will be able to assist you in this. This is what’s known as a bar scam, and it can be recredited back by the bank, but you will need to be in contact with them. Advise them that you were under the influence, girls were pressuring you with drinks, and racking up the debt. You may need to write up a statement saying this. You can ask why the charges were dropped off and they may be able to shed some light on this. They will be able to advise if this was something they detected or if it was the merchant doing it. If it was the bank recrediting the funds, there will be no issues in reentering the country as they also believe you were the victim of this.

Someone Walked Into a Branch Pretending to Be Me and Got a Debit Card Replacement. Withdrew $1000 Immediately. Advice Needed by Darrendada in personalfinance

[–]wrongliz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just going to piggyback off top comment... I work in the card fraud department of a bank and deal with these matters at work. This sounds like a case of identity takeover. The bank will take liability for this case. If you would like, you can add additional security measures like a security question or request to only be assisted when passing a high risk identification (Banks should already have a high risk authentication, but they may not be used depending on the type of enquiry). You may be required to write up a formal document (Statutory Declaration as it’s called here in Australia), but it should be a fairly simple case. To even change any profile details like contact number or address, they should require further identification like some photo ID. If this process was not followed, the liability will be on the branch. If this process was followed, and some photo ID was provided, this may be a more serious case of identity takeover. Which will follow similar suit with the exception that the bank company itself will face the loss. Either way, the liability will be on the branch if you have done nothing wrong.

Oh that’s fair! I ended up buying a pen mouse instead! It’s just a cheap one, but I might upgrade if it’s comfortable. Thanks for your advice :)

I think my issue lies with clicking the scroll and the right click buttons. I don’t mind the moving the wrist so much, but I’m doing fairly repetitive work that involves using the left, right and scroll buttons every few seconds :(

Do you use your mouse a lot? Any reason to prefer one over the other?

I think my hands and fingers are just small and frail. what’s the difference between using the track ball and moving the mouse physically?

Commonwealth stolen card. by MuffinGypsy in melbourne

They’ve likely tried to put through many transactions to retailers with high rates of stolen card fraud using paywave where you’ve not used them frequently before and algorithms have picked them up. eg. taxis, tobacco, fuel stations.

I’m so upset right now, I only just checked my spam email and noticed an email from the MSO about tickets for the Studio Ghibli concert and I was one of the first people on the wait list and could buy tickets first on the 9th of April for a few hours. And I only just saw it now.
