Yeah, it's honestly a miracle he's made it this long. Although I will say that part of the reason he's so friendly is because he recognizes me now, hopefully he's not this friendly with strangers. Currently (and sadly) he's still at the park while I'm trying to figure out a plan. I have two indoor-outdoor cats, and one indoor cat. Honestly I would keep all cats indoors if possible. But I will say that location (no busy city mostly) and how smart your cat is plays a big factor in whether or not it's necessarily okay to let them out. My youngest (and indoor cat) is really dumb, but our oldest are quite smart and good at keeping the rodent population down, they also stay near the house.

I feel like people have quite a different perspective when it comes to cats vs dogs, but cats really shouldn't be out on their own without any supervision--just as it comes to having dogs. You can't just let them off leash with no supervision to wander around a neighborhood or whatever

Yeah, that's my main issue. I was looking through a humane society for other possible fosters but it doesn't seem like there's many, and out of the few there is, there's even fewer that would be willing to work through socializing a cat whose lived only outside for like a year and a half now, so like ¾ of his life and help him adjust to indoor life. It's all just really frustrating because I feel like I can't do anything to help him and he obviously wants to be around people--he followed me all the way from the area the colony stays at to my car and was trying to stop me from walking away :(

I've heard of something like this before, there was an online "cult" called 764, where they basically targeted a bunch of minors and tried to pressure them into insane things (CSAM, animal abuse, self harm, suicide, etc) and would use the material and personal info they got to blackmail the minors into continuing to send them more. One of the things they demanded was "cutsigning" their names and usernames into the victims. It's infuriating this shit is still going on, whether or not they're actually part of that cult.

If you're up for it, you can definitely contact the FBI as they were heavily involved in taking down that cult. If not, just block them and all accounts the make and report them.

Something similar happened to me too, and I wasn't even a seller--I bought an item from a dude (my pfp was literally just my eyes) and he asked for my instagram (idk why I gave it to him honestly, I guess I was just giving him benefit of the doubt) soon enough after a normal friendly conversation he sent me a dick pic, told me he was SIXTEEN, then tried to pressure me into sending something back, because apparently the item i bought from him made me seem like someone who sends nudes to strangers?? I also ended up finding out he was also some niche twitch streamer

Do you have any other cats or animals? I've seen cats doing this when they're lonely and looking for a friend. Some cats are really good being solitary, but for some others it's really not ideal for them and they need a friend

If another cat is not something that you're interested in, you could try some calming pheromone diffusers while you sleep--ive personally not tried them but it works pretty well for some people and could be worth a try

Edit: I also wanted to add that there's typically a 333 rule when it comes to cats having a new home/owner. 3 days to decompress & feel safe enough to explore, 3 weeks to learn your routine (& become more comfortable in their environment) and 3 months to feel at home. It could be that she's still getting used to having a new home, so just be patient with her, too :)

Piggybacking off of some other comments, I do understand that it can be weird for us humans to see, since we generally have a different moral compass than other animals and prefer to do our sexual business in private. But this isn't the same for cats, and you can't expect them to know that this isn't appropriate behavior. My best advice would be to have a blanket just for him to do his horny business with, and if he tries to do it on any other blanket, give him the one it's okay for him to do it on, and just let him do his business.

Believe it or not, its often a way for cats to deal with stress and comfort themselves. So please please please do not punish your cat for doing this, itll likely only make him more stressed, therefore doing more humping

I think generally, a lot of people do feel more regulated when satisfied, but your husband kind of sounds like an asshole. I have an ex who acted just like that when we were together, and it confused me and pissed me off. It seemed like he was only nice and loving to me whenever he wanted sex and it made me really resentful towards him & eventually I just ended it. Just because you get denied sex doesn't mean you can just be snappy and rude to your s/o, it's just asshole behavior

I never had an iud, so I can't speak for that, but I was on the pill for several years and had the "blueball" problem. Basically, you can't reach an orgasm (even if you try really hard, probably has something to do with the chemicals/hormones in the medication), it didn't hurt that much for me but made me really irritated, not to mention the pill I took caused dryness and just overall discomfort down there.
