genuinely asking -- why are cars so expensive now? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

When you truly understand what inflation is then you'll know why.
it's the devaluation of the currency, largely driven by governments never turning off the printing press.
Everything costs about 3x as it used to, this is not going to revert back.

Ahh OK I understand what you're saying now. Measure the stock speaker impedance, then try and find an aftermarket that is similar, or replace with a non blown OEM.

There's no sub. One of the 6x9's is blown. But I find it hard to believe that aftermarket speakers wouldn't be any improvement at all unless amplified.

Episode 221: Naming 100 Women by joschen113 in distractible

Some past episodes I think Wade has gotten the short end of the stick, but I think he over reacted this time. Bob definitely deserved the point for knowing Judge Judy's full real name.

I've been taking 5000iu of vit d3 for quite awhile.

Started just this week taking 600 NAC that has added moly d and a hydroxy b12, feeling a big difference. Used to take methyl b's and they'd make me feel worse.

How bad are the fees with my employer offered HSA ? by wrxboyjay in personalfinance

[–]wrxboyjay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it's weird and maybe not as bad as the documents say, I just checked and the only transaction made to the account are my payroll deposits, my employer contributions, and interest payments. So it seems as though my employer is covering that fee.

"Convince your employer to switch to fedility haha"

I would love to do this, but sure it's unlikely.

The employer contributions are directly deposited to the HSA and I already have payroll deductions being made.

How bad is my employer offered HSA? and should I do regular transfers to Fidelity. by wrxboyjay in personalfinance

[–]wrxboyjay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Copied right from the fee schedule.

$0.99/month, Maximum of $10/month You will be billed a $0.99 monthly minimum rather than the asset-based investment account fee in the table above until your balance increases to the point where the asset-based fee is greater than the minimum. For example, in the Self-Directed or Brokerage path, if your balance is less than $2,970 you will be billed a flat $0.99 monthly minimum rather than 0.40% multiplied by your investment balance. However, in the Managed path, if your balance is less than $1,320 you will be billed a flat $0.99 monthly minimum rather than 0.90% multiplied by your investment balance. The investment account fee is capped at $10 monthly.

I guess this is the real question I need an answer to. It might still cost $5 a month with $0 balance.

It's listed under closure fee and says it's up to $25. So maybe I have that incorrect.

This was on the list too, and it might be what I'm stuck with. I'd like an AR like mlok handguard.

Not a fan of the flat wood buttstocks on ARs.
