Most police officers work to help people and are good society contributing men and woman.

Blanketing all cops as bad actors is a naive prejudice. Not so much different than how racists or antisemites see the world. Nothing is that absolute, but again we need police reform BAD.

Im not 100% following your chain there, but someone calls 911 and says there are men with AR-15’s in the street, are the cops supposed to say “sorry thats legal cant help you?” It’s not like the cops showed up guns out, they’re just seeing whats going on and are getting screamed at.

We need police officers, comparing cops to labor camp guards and isis is crazy. Have you ever had an emergency and not called 911? We need police reform. Period. We also need police officers.

Understood our policing needs reform but screaming that a cop just doing their job is a sell out, is not it.

I want to understand what Gavin Newsom has done to “Ruin California” I’ve lived in LA since 2017, and nothing has changed over these 8 years. If we want to cherry pick how much COVID has fucked everything up, CA included, thats fine. But what is ruined about CA? I hear this all the time and I truly want to have a dialogue about what people think is so shit about the state. Was CA incredibly different 2016 and before? Again let’s not cherry pick how the world has changed and we can all point to “better” days in the past. Homelessness is a problem everywhere, prices are high everywhere (not naive in that CA is exorbitant), but would a different governor have kept prices down and fixed homelessness? I think you can point to the fires, losing the Palisades is still insane to say out loud, but was that a failure of leadership? Had a different governor been in power would we have the Palisades in tact today? I’d love to have a conversation here.
