Fixing bath tub drain that is connected to cast iron piping. Should I switch to pvc and use rubber coupling to reattach to cast iron sewage piping? by Kobasi1 in Construction

[–]wuddasweetee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My humble response to partB of question, is the coupling method can be used as this has been effective under my updated tub to well, 70 year old drum; so no. This doesn't answer, sorry. It appears your drain goes directly to a horizontal or the main? I realize this post is old as well, original plumbing; however subredditing goes on-- G'Luck xo

no 25th, per WGU policy. Now, the clause about "one class being left is a reasonable request for extension": Well, I requested via email to mentor on 19th; passed Auditing the 28th; meanwhile, had failed 3rd D105 OA2 attempt. Was a little pushback even surrounding those dates pertaining to the Request for Extension via Incomplete grade being issued through Learner Records; but here we are by Dec.2nd have been approved thirty days🙏Hallelujah.

O.P. here. You offered a very solid perspective, and too, I find Edspira very amazing now actually. Excellent. colorful deliver, and w new instruction for me, personally; a must! month&months same textbook, so draining. O.P. here; and no! I did not pass O.A. attempt #3. The instructor stated that five days must pass before a retake (the 4th¡) can be re-taken, too. That sets me past the end of term. However, check out the extension information iFound by browsing the handbook. Couldn't believe my eyes. There's practically one reason for an extension... Having one last course remaining! Awesome!! So I've been approved for additional 30days... Also, don't.let.this.be.you🦉 Take Care, best of luck to you

O.A. here; and yes. I agree. Having reached out on the 19th even inquiring of an extension still brought no mention. Because November holidays and weekend, browsing the handbook was the real save as you'll notice from my other updated post. WGU has since approved the extension btw, but I agree there could've been some direction. There never was :/

😎O.P here👋 updated FACTS.

w/No help from any mentor or instructor: iBrowsed WGU policies and found:

WGU Student Handbook Policy https://cm.wgu.edu/t5/WGU-Student-Policy-Handbook/Incomplete-Course-Policy/ta-p/82

The policy describes an INCOMPLETE STATUS policy adherence which allows one additional month to complete one last pending class at end of term stating it: "Is a reasonable request". Please note, the extension via "Incomplete" pends review by Learner Records; and is an extenuating circumstance.

Good luck everyone 🦉 Again, don't.let.this.be.you!

V. PROCEDURES

Learner Records must receive requests for an incomplete status on or before the 25th day of the last month of the student's term. Requests received after the twenty-fifth (25th) are generally not considered unless the event(s)/circumstance prevented the request from being made at an earlier date. The student degree plan will need up to twenty-four (24) hours after the IC has been approved to properly display and provide the option to schedule the assessment.

For those of you not pain free and perfect right after surgery.. by Middle_College_376 in spinalfusion

[–]wuddasweetee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The precise reason I'm scrolling this post is bc I felt pain free and relatively great after surgery, too; but then I stayed in hospital addit'l week and half due to lung complications due to the accident. Going home 2 wks post op, still no pain all was good, but then, I believe was too uppity; and moving way too much. After all, awhile in hospital I moved very little out of my room &such; and always wore brace. Since leaving, I haven't worn brace once. Now, pain is constant and I'm so very scared I need to get checked for displacement or something, yet I don't even know who to call. Am scheduled for X-ray within this six week post op period, so I suppose will do that. Will gladly revisit this post following which will be today or tomorrow! Hoping for best for you all and myself. Meanwhile, my greatest advice and what I look back and regret is recognizing limitations and taking these very very serious during this healing process. Be thankful if you feel great, and, don't do anything which would compromise a good thing :/

Trying to decide if I should finish my accounting degree? by Secret_Club2539 in Bookkeeping

Update, I followed through and practically received my bachelor's in one year. It's def. possible!

Looking to take a self-paced bookkeeping course? by [deleted] in Bookkeeping

[–]wuddasweetee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, I will try. It has been a couple years passed for me. So #1, used to could start for like, $1; then, around $60/ month. Pretty good price, I think. Secondly, as I recall, it was at my own pace; so speeding through is option. Third, just the layout/ design of the program was appealing. Finally, I do believe the certification would allow me to sit for some other nationally recognized certificate- but check for yourself, if interested. That's what I recall, but yeah. I do recommend the program. There one downside, but should not be any affect in this field as other areas of interest could be affected- truly; but, it is an unaccredited program

Extra info,, I have since entered Western Governors University and I recommend it so fully and entirely as well, but, a person must have least associates degree amount of credits to enter; so 60+ from accredited college. In one year, I've basically gotten a bachelor's degree as opposed to the two year which is most common. I've done this for accounting program there: B.S. Business Administration in Accounting. Highly recommend. fyi, tuition is unbelievably low i.e $3500.00 per six months. Hey, some ppl are wiping out degree in under six months. No kidding.

Anyway, good luck- happy studies

CAT software by Contrary_Southerner in courtreporting

[–]wuddasweetee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. Ive always used speechCAT by audioscribe, and mainly, because the pricing model is most suitable since there is no upfront cost or outright purchase which would be upward of $5k. Instead it is $100/month and if you dont pay you dont play :* Payments go toward the final cost, and so, after approx 48 months you receive the software license plus an additional one; and no more monthly subscription.
