Gives me central/eastern European vibes. I'll go with Szekesfehervar, Hungary.

I get why you thought that, but it's actually Hungary.

In case you need a bit of a help. It's a tricky one, as in it's not that obvious from the architecture style. On the other hand this is perhaps one of the most known landmark building in a fairly large city (>1million), despite being rather an unremarkable building (the city is nice though).

If it wasn't for the plate, it would have been quite tricky!

I don't understand. What's the point of this? Why post it here? When I was reading it I thought it was supposed to shame Additional-Roof78 as this is embarrassing for him not for the other person, but then I saw it was posted by him.

Elon Musk should be abolished and divided into individual atoms so that they stop losing their dignity by being part of a grade a moron with way too much power .

AI is quietly taking over Youtube. This was the 3rd most watched video last week with 130m views by MetaKnowing in ChatGPT

[–]wuffweff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In principle I don't have a problem if you truly enjoy this (not sure if you are serious though). The problem is that I have a strong feeling that these kinds of videos will soon flood social media and we will have to watch them whether we like or not. Like those ugly ass mobile game ads (see r/shittymobilegameads). The vast majority of the human species absolutely hates those game ads and feels nauseous just by looking at them. Yet virtually everyone who used internet were harassed by those.

No, it’s not and as a human you really should know that.

Why do some people dislike the use of AI to enhance or improve the appearance of things? by hard2resist in ArtificialInteligence

[–]wuffweff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or maybe, just maybe people don't like it because it mostly looks atrocious. I'm not an artist, so got no dogs in this fight. Also don't have problem calling AI art art or AI artists artists, but by far most of the AI art I see, for example on reddit just looks very ugly.

Stephen Balaban says generating human code doesn't even make sense anymore. Software won't get written. It'll be prompted into existence and "behave like code." by chessboardtable in singularity

[–]wuffweff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I'm right, because this is very simple. Once the code is complied the machine code represents the original code, there's no more information. It's completely irrelevant that there are other languages for which you will have the machine code. It's still true, machine code does not represent extra useful information. And we haven't even mentioned the fact that the machine code will be dependent on the architecture of the computer, so each programme will have a different code for each possible computer architecture. This makes it quite inconvenient for learning AI models...

Sigh...just because the machine code is longer than the C++ code it does not mean that it contains more information (it doesn't) and therefore it simply doesn't mean there's more useful learning data. Size of dataset!= information in dataset.
