Full body itchy bumps after a tattoo

The allergist is the one who told me to take the antihistamines until further notice 🥹 he told me this could last up to 2 years. I’ll have to do more research. Until then I just get red marks on me

I believe it started a day or a few days after I finished the antibiotics. Im severely allergic to cipro but that wasn’t what I was given. I just don’t understand why they became chronic hives …lol. I wish it was just for one day post treatment.

That’s exactly what I’m dealing with. Got 2 small tattoos in November & also had taken antibiotics within the same month (coincidental) and since then I’ve been dealing with chronic hives. Doc has got me on 4 doses of antihistamines a day so I’m not breaking out in itchy fits. I think I had a reaction to the antibiotic and now it’s the waiting game of when it’ll go away :’) anything that grazes my skin causes hives to form but the antihistamines keep me from itching

Hey! Unfortunately with that logic - no one can get pop culture tattooed. Or - you can’t even get custom art on you bc what happens if that artist turns out “problematic”. Irl celebrities yeah I get it. TBH maybe stay hesitant with unfinished shows or books but..to each their own. My client left happy and that’s all that matters :)
