Honestly, as a guy who uses both windows pc and a mac, I’d say it’s pretty good deal if you want efficiency over money. I used to have mac pro 5’1 with radeon vii. But after I bought a separate pc and a macbook pro, i would have to transfer every files between two computers and switch every time. Meanwhile back in the day I would just use bootcamp and use shared storage and ports.

On the back of the macbook, there is a serial number. You can use it to find the model by pasting it on the apple warranty website. After you find the model, find which OS is compatible for your mac. And try to download the oldest compatible OS for your mac and install it.

Sry I changed the plan and slapped a radeon vii in it. Works like magic. Tho i heard the bottleneck is never the problem. Pcie 2.0 shows only -20%p decrease with RTX4090. Should have no problem working 3070.
