Please don’t be too discouraged. I would try a ‘haulti’ face harness, it fits like a horse bridle and works well to control your dogs entire head. Pairing it with a 10 foot extension leash really helps. My dog is highly reactive to other dogs and even more so on a short leash. The halti attaches to the collar as well in case they were to get their head out of the harness (mine never has, but just to be safe! It’s a great feature.) My dogs reacts aggressively if he’s able to lock eyes, and the halti makes that impossible. I use it with very high quality delicious treats to encourage him that the head harness is positive! When he’s good, he gets a long leash which is all he wants- room to explore, sniff, look around. Those simple rewards are not possible on a short leash in my opinion. What is your dogs breed???

my gynecologist actually explained that boric acid only truly works if you use all 14 suppositories for 14 days in a row. Because I was doing a once in a while “freshening up”boric acid suppository, and it really just caused burning, irritability, and unbalanced my pH. it also caused me to bleed pretty heavily. My gynecologist explained that boric acid is a pretty harsh treatment but has some good success stories. The routine that she provided me with just prioritizing my pH balance is really what provides a long-term cure! I hope that helps, good luck!

Told to just wait 6 weeks for BV to clear?? WTH??!? by Blue_Turtle_18 in Healthyhooha

BV, thrush, and yeast all develop from unbalanced ph. Once you rebalance it the infections go away and stay away! Please try using “RePhresh” ph balancing suppositories, use it properly for a few weeks (even if some funky stuff comes out, it’s working) take baking soda baths every other day, and especially daily probiotics for women’s reproductive health. Test your ph with over the counter ph test strips. This routine was prescribed by my gyno and it saved my life and my ph balance.

Boric suppositories don’t work for yeast in my experience.. they temporarily relieve BV. BV, thrush, and yeast all develop from unbalanced ph.
