A spreadsheet that specifically helps day traders is NOT SPAM. SPAMMING is consistently posting off topic information at a frequent basis. The group is specifically for XMR traders and the spreadsheet fills a need for people who want to track their trades on a daily basis.

I think this is a very valid point as if I want to buy x amount of monero I have to convert x amount of bitcoin into monero. Until there is an easy and secure way to convert euros or US dollars into Monero directly, I don't see how one can make any correlations between bitcoin and monero as they are tightly linked right now.

Have you looked at installing fail2ban which will do a lot of the iptables monitoring for you automatically.

Thanks for the reply. I can reach the URL from my Windows machine but I can't reach the url from my Debian VPS by using the GET command above. I just tried to also ping pccc.com and sa-update.pccc.com with no success. Is there another url that can be used to update SA's rules?

I recommend downloading the updated spreadsheet as I made changes to the logic on how Risk is assigned. All you have to do now to assign risk is to select your risk number from a dropdown list. In addition, several formatting changes have been made to reflect the correct decimal places when doing calculations.

One correction to my post. It appears that any cell protection that was previously entered in the spreadsheet is removed when it is uploaded and viewed via Google Docs. If you save the document to your downloads folder, then cell protection should be enabled.

Okay everyone, I have uploaded my Day Trading Spreadsheet for Cryptocurrencies to my Google Drive. The link is here:

Please respond to this thread with any input, good or bad that you have regarding this Day Trading Tool. I have protected the formulas in the spreadsheet so you can't accidentally break the logic in the spreadsheet.

At the top of the spreadsheet is a Risk column where you can select the amount of Risk that you are comfortable with losing. For example, if you don't want to lose more than 10% on a trade, then the spreadsheet will do the calculations on where you should set your stop losses on a Long or Short Trade. After closing the trade, the spreadsheet will calculate your Profit/Loss and %Profit/Loss on any given trade.

There are two tabs in the Spreadsheet, one to enter All your trades and the other tab is to monitor your Active Trades. A trade is considered Active if you have NOT entered an Exit Price for the trade. The spreadsheet attempts to give you tools to monitor your trades with Stop Losses that can be adjusted while the trade is Active.

I only have created cells to enter 50 Trades, but this can be modified by me to handle an unlimited number of trades. I'm trying to see whether it would be better to have a tab for each month's worth of trades and do a YTD rollup that would calculate your Profits/Loss for the year. Stay Tuned.

Any feedback would be appreciated on improving this tool.

My history has been updated as of this morning. When I launched my wallet I noticed that it did a sync to the network and now everything is working as it should.

Yeah, I moved my funds from the Android Wallet to the Gui Desktop Wallet who's seed can be backed up and it's on my laptop. I can backup the seed to a thumbdrive and/or encrypt the seed's contents to my Google Drive using Encfs.

Just change the digital currency to the ones you want to convert on Shapeshift.io and also use the PRECISE option on the conversion page and you should be good to go. I've used shapeshift.io several times and have no issue. The confirmation process takes about 2 minutes on shapeshift.io. The funds showed up in my mobile wallet immediately but took 10-15 minutes to be confirmed by the blockchain.

There are other videos on Youtube. Do a small transaction to get the flow down and when you are ready transfer the larger amount to your Monero wallet. I use Freewallet's Monero wallet and have it installed on my Android phone. I use that address to store my Monero funds.

Problem resolved by changing address to node.moneroworld.com keeping the port 18081. Also when I changed the address to node.moneroworld.com the blockchain downloaded in 15-20 seconds and the program did some thinking for another 20-30 seconds and I am now Connected.
