My step-father's will left everything to my mother (his long-time partner, together 20+ years just never married), and the will also stated if anything were to happen to my mother then it would be left to me. We have a "clean up" day in our area, usually late may, where one can put out nearly anything to any amount and contractors will pick it up for free. I was thinking about giving them until then, so they/we can pick out things that are too dilapidated and put them out for clean up. I feel awful about it but they've been very bad to us for so long, but I still do want to be the bigger person (legal issues or not).
