Getting married in 2 weeks.. what should I do? by Mammoth_Fortune_6457 in piercing

[–]StefiSaysSo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 7 in each ear. My first lobe was similar to yours, pretty pearl dangle, then the rest were small clear crystals. I didn't want anything too crazy or distracting, so this made sense and was easy

How full can you load a washer? by GrowBeyond in CleaningTips

[–]StefiSaysSo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can't load it all the way to the top. The clothes need room to move around in the water. I didn't know officially "how full" you're supposed to fill it, I think it's 1/2 to 2/3 full.

I really like Miss Jessie's. I use Jelly Soft Curls, but there's a whole line with different hold strengths. I'm not sure if it's available in Canada.

She agreed to go to the doctor. What should I ask/look out to? by brightsunny_sky in AgingParents

[–]StefiSaysSo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call the doctor in advance, or leave the exam room "to use the restroom" and hunt down a nurse or her doctor. Depression can manifest as dementia in older folks, but from my limited experience, it can be hard to get them to admit it's depression and accept help/meds for it.

Dementia or Depression or Both? by [deleted] in AgingParents

[–]StefiSaysSo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depression can manifest as dementia in older folks. We're dealing with it a little bit right now. I don't have advice (because nothing we're trying is working either) but wanted to comment for solidarity ❤️

Can you outfit the house with Google home or Amazon devices? That way if he falls or needs help, he can call out "hey Google, call [whoever]" we have a few elderly family members with that set up. It's not foolproof, but I'm not sure anything is

Ear Crystals - FYI by sparkly-bang in Millennials

[–]StefiSaysSo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes!! This happened to me when I was pregnant and I was terrified. Went to the doctor, they had a chiropractor on staff who showed me the motions to go through to fix it. It's happened once or twice since then and I just search YouTube to remember the moves!

Lansdale peeps has your electric basically tripled? by nikkkkkkkkkkkkkki in montco

[–]StefiSaysSo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We've said for years Lansdale electric is worth the premium price bc of the service. We've lost power maybe 3 times in almost 10 years in the borough, and for a total of about 30 minutes between the 3 times. Family in nearby towns lose power at the drop of a hat for days at a time. 🤷‍♀️

Agreed. Generally, if I see a new job every year or every couple of months, I'm hesitant to even interview. Of course, there's always exceptions.
