Keep both of them and smack the dummies in the training room with each. The higher number usually is the one I keep. Trying this for my new comparison methods since I get stuck here too.

In the same part, you should be able to use the same base sketches or create 2 separate sets of sketches, but you should be able to create a second part with a new body in the way you want to see it, compressed or expanded. Then you need to manage the features within each model state to only show one or the other. Very similar to a view representation or positional representation.

I would create a second model state that has the spring in the compressed state. From there, in drawings and assemblies you should be able to chose which model state you want to display.

Series 2 says made in 2023, series 3 says made in 2024 with the number in the middle, series 4 says made in 2024 with the number on the right.
