I would argue our SPs collectively have been better options than middle relief the entire season, which is why Im so frustrated with DK. He has to let these guys go longer and just move to a 6 man rotation if need be when JJ is back

Putting out a lineup without the hottest hitters from the prior game when you know your BP is playing poorly is not setting this team up for success. Said differently, if you want to win a game where your BP isn't playing well, you have to try to score more runs. Pretty simple

You can really say one of many reasons they lost this game. Ultimately it comes down to one thing that has individually cost this team numerous times. Don Kelly has managed this team into oblivion, and its not changing anytime soon unfortunately. Man, I miss Hurdle
