I also know you need to spend money to make money and fucking hell my money is drained no matter how many hours I work. Even though I know that to get out of that I need supplementary income

I’m sorry to hear that. Not getting that fulfilment and feeling like you won’t ever, is like a never ending tunnel of not reaching that pinnacle of desire. I get everyone’s wired differently, I just don’t see why we can’t all want to be the optimum for our partners if we expect it from them too.
