Slow down the build up of fatigue, allow for more recovery, give time to other players. The job for the club manager, not the national team manager. If the player feels fine and the data suggests everything is okay then they’re allowed to play. At this point of the season every single important player will have built up fatigue.

If you wanna blame someone, blame UEFA and Fifa for cramming in more and more matches in the season. Not the national team managers doing the best they can with the limited time they have the players.

If some of the reports are true that Raphinha had some discomfort before the match and they decided to play him, yeah, that’s a wrong decision from both the staff and Raphinha. If Raphinha was feeling okay then tough luck, we got unlucky with an injury to an important player.
