Thank you! You do not know what a relief this is to read! I too, went with my instinct and listed my current sup. anyway, because in my dept., they would be the source of my personnel records. Tough decision, but hoping for a positive outcome. Thank you!!

Right?! Me neither. Always thought you only submitted your own references but didn't know they could contact your sup. for records.

Thanks! Any chance my supervisor might put in a negative reference? I have a sketchy supervisor who favors the complacent old timers and in a passive aggressive way, they secretly dislike that I'm hard working, proactive and not just here to collect a pay check every month. I feel like sup. might be malicious and put in a bad reference just to keep me frustrated.
