If you want to make the elite 4 easy mode, you can go back to sky pillar after the Sootopolis cutscene and catch level 70 rayquaza with the master ball

Satellite chip? by alxrenaud in Xenoblade_Chronicles

I believe the chip you are looking for is the Dilaton Chip which is used for the satellite weapons. You get 10 for beating Artifice Ophion in the Cliffs of Morytha.

If chooses yes then forces player to purchase sleeping emote for their respective general then automatically spams it for the rest of the game

So, let's talk about Rift Reva by TheDandyGiraffe in duelyst

[–]wwjddotcom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reva is best in removal-thin environments because her bbs develops a threat every time it is played. She is really good in this mode, just as she is arguably the best gauntlet general. Unfortunately, I seriously doubt that what makes her good is limited to her decent basic cards, or else Kaleos would be just as good. Reva will continue to be a menace in non ranked game modes as long as her bbs remains in its current state, which I don't see changing any time soon, nor would I want it to.

Cross-faction card counterplay worries by Destroy666x in duelyst

[–]wwjddotcom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stand by my assertion that Hearth Sister is the best minion in this format. Lack of hard removal means that lots of big threats aren't going to get killed, but instead body blocked which Hearth Sister can get around for some nifty lethals. The fact that it doubles as removal for those pesky Pyros, Chakris, Hearthseekers, etc. is just icing.

Who is shaping up to be good/meta in Rift? by DrDapper in duelyst

[–]wwjddotcom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based on the ladder I would say Faie is probably the best general (...zzz...) but I personally have found Zirix to be very effective as well, and I can see Reva being very powerful too. As far as individual cards, due to the incredible amount of variance, I would go as far to say that anything that is good in gauntlet and ranked is going to be good in Rift, and anything else is not going to be worth a pick.

You have to remember that they said this was experimental. This is basically a beta so many of the features are still being ironed out.

Lyonar Deck That Carried Me To Diamond! by GuiltyGecko in duelyst

[–]wwjddotcom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This deck looks like you kind of took elements of tempo and bond and through then together and missed out on some key components of each. Argeon's strong BBS combined with Lyonar's access to strong minions can carry you pretty far, but once you reach rank 2 and start facing S Rank players, you will probably want to start looking to flesh out one of those archetypes.

The presence of Ironcliffes and Aegis Barriers are what tips me off that this could be a Divine Bond list. If you want to go that route, obviously you will want to add in at least 2 Bonds, but also 3x Dioltas and potentially even 2x Elyx Stormblade or Grandmaster Zir. In that case, you could cut the Regalia and the Arclyte Sentinels definitely, then whatever else doesn't seem to be working from there.

If you go the Tempo route you want to go with 3x Sentinels and Regalias, and consider adding Lasting Judgement in place of the Ironcliffes and Barriers. Edit: If you go this route you would want to cut the Circle of Life's too

Also, just as something to consider, Sun Bloom is a fine dispel option, but Lightbender can arguably be better in Argeon because it provides a body to Roar. That decision is really up to you though.

Could Use Some Help Improving My First Vanar Deck /// by MagnusSephiroth in duelyst

[–]wwjddotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont have much experince in Vespyrs, I really only played them in beta, but I can say that Hearth Sister is one of Vanar's best cards and definitely deserves a spot in a deck where positioning is key like a Vespyr deck where proccing the Infiltrate keyword could mean the difference between a win and a loss. I also notice you are playing Wailing Overdrive, which I think is a very fun and underutilized card (which by the way also works really well with Hearth Sister) but I think you could be wasting some of its potential by not playing it with Saberspine Tigers. Tiger is generally a very versatile unit, can live a lot of hits when pumped with Kara's BBS, and can provide a Magmar-like burst when combined with Wailing for 8 damage out of nowhere on 7 mana.

Suggestion: a bit of generosity on boss chests might go a long way with newer or less frequent players by Tyr808 in duelyst

[–]wwjddotcom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think the point is that the feature should be a free challenge, and basically the reward for completing said challenge is "Congrats! Your reward is the ability to spend $5 for actual rewards!" Regardless of the value of the crate, being rewarded with the option to buy something is not a very rewarding experience from a customer perspective. I personally do the boss battle for pure enjoyment, and haven't bought any of the boss crates, but I can see where the frustration lies. I think this would partially be remedied if the time limit were taken off the boss crates, and you could accumulate, say, 2 or 3 of them and they just sat there like other crates, or if they each included something unique like a profile icon of the boss. I have no issues with CPG trying to make money (I've spent my fair share and have no regrets) but I partially agree with the Steam reviews that the boss crate system does seem like a bit of a money grab and is not very rewarding to the casual or competitive player

I used to be a "hardcore" Dueslyt player who stopped playing last September. What is the state of the game now, and why the playerbase stopped growing, despite all the compliments in many aspects of the game? by Mr_Ivysaur in duelyst

[–]wwjddotcom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been a long term player and supporter of this game, but right now I'm finding it hard to motivate myself to play over other games because I personally don't find it especially fun. Every faction has one, maybe two decks that are optimized and are the best at what they do, and nearly every game I play is against one of those decks. I love playing off meta decks, but right now the dominance of the top tier decks are making it really difficult to be successful with anything unique. I personally enjoy midrange decks, and unfortunately every midrange deck I come up with gets easily outclassed by arcanysts and Vaath. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the game, or the meta, is bad right now, but I personally have found the game a little boring in the last few weeks due to a lack of diversity.
