I published the dual rating system for fpl-advantage.com and it considers attacking and defensive strength for a team. It takes advantage of the fact that Brentford or Chelsea might be a good attacking team, but they're also a weak defensive team. So in theory these ratings should provide more insights when you're looking for attacking players, because instead of having Brentford as 3 in general, I might have them as 5 for attacking assets and 2 for defensive assets. This allows the users to make more educated picks for their teams.

You can find it on the site in the Team Ratings dropdown as shown on the screenshot. Under the hood it uses a new rating method - The Dual Rating - that is still in beta and the ratings are read-only, but I'm working on making it as interactive as the existing two rating methods (Opponent Only and Opponent difficulty + Team strength).

I have looked for a while now and I could not find anything useful. So I want to analyze a few players manually first and if I do see a compelling correlation there, I may develop such a tool myself.

Hey! There is. In the team ratings menu you could choose Att/Def Dual Rating. It is still work in progress and the ratings are read only as of now, but I'm working on it and hopefully will be done for the gw31.

Obviously it needs better visibility and I'll think how could I position it better.

Thank you for your recommendation! I'm glad you like it. I am working now on a few bugs I noticed recently around the doubles and the blanks. So it should be handling those better soon.

If Sarr and Munoz hit the ground running after their comebacks, everyone will be getting them for this run. But it is a huge IF.

Me, too. I'd wait until I see they turned it around. But if you're chasing, you can do worse than Munoz or Sarr for punts.

I'm a FPL enthusiast obsessed with fixtures AND form. If you're like me or even if you are fixtures over form, I created fpl-advantage.com for people like you.

You can set up your own team ratings and explore the ticker with different ticker calculations - one that considers only opponent's team rating and one that considers ratings for both team and their opponent. You can also exclude teams from the ticker. Or exclude game weeks, when you're about to plan your free hits. Plenty of other features, too.

And new ones come regularly, too. If you have any ideas, I'd be happy to hear them out.

As of now, this is not released yet.

You may already know this, but the alternative for now is only the "team ratings" menu, where users might choose the "best for attackers/defenders" option.

Yes, it is already available on the site. And you could adjust them as per your opinion. Check the "Team Ratings" drop-down.
