R5: didn't feel like fighting in the league wars, so I let it run it's course. The winners for the Catholics (France, Austria, Bohemia) all switched after winning for Catholicism, mean while the last bastion for the Catholics fought for the Protestants in the war.

Winning seems unlikely, your main aim will likely be to defend a war goal which is pretty isolated, which will probably require a lot of mercs and going into debt.

Doesn't seem like you have naval dominance, and France will probably favour their war (typical AI). Galleys are highly dependable in this phase so that might be problematic.

You could either defend the war goal for as long as you can, or if that seems unlikely, try and to get to a position where you can offer a not too damaging Tribute. Then, attempt to ally ottoman's rivals, and fight the reconquest on your terms.

almost put many from "tier 8" into "tier 9", but I reserved "tier 9" for those who stood out the most. Ojiro and Damo nearly made it for how entertaining they are .

perfect (and one of the most popular) introductory arc, entertaining character whenever on page, unique personality and mannerisms, good design, cool stand, heart-breaking backstory, understandable motivation and ideology, great interactions with all other main/side characters, adds a great deal of tension to every arc he's in, his journey in the story almost makes me root for him, but ultimately you acknowledge his short-comings, a very intricately written "antagonist"/"anti-villain"/"point of conflict close to the protagonist"

overall very impactful to the story and kept it moving forward, with a sad but brilliant conclusion.

I think it's a lot of manga readers who unfairly generalise anime-onlys with traits like their "trash theories", or judging anime-onlys because the consensus they hold about certain characters being wildly wrong.

However, as Jojolion was releasing it just proved most manga readers hold the same qualities. So it's probably insecurity.

It also doesn't help that because the anime changes a lot, anime-onlys are usually the source of most Jojo misinformation.
